    I can't thank you enough for your tutorials, especially for GIMP. I've been searching for tutorials that could add to my creative abilities within GIMP. If you've ever had doubts, discard them. Thanks so much!

    Hey nick, im a web design and developer who had been using Photoshop and Illustrator for the past few years and thought that it was actually the best image editing tools out there. I recently switched to Ubuntu to do some codings and stuff, and learned that photoshop isnt available for linux but GIMP was. At first i found it extremely different compared to Photoshop but learned the functions of each tool gradually. I have saved all your videos and have learned so much from them. Thank you Nick, you are the best!

  • @darkcheeto3959

    how do you get your gimp set up like that, my gimp has multiple windows and do not have the layers atop the work, nvm i found out

  • @shubham_dalvi
    @shubham_dalvi 7 лет назад +1

    How to integrate the quick toolbox in a single window frame of GIMP? Everytime I open it, I see three different window frames. The extreme left pallet (quick toolbox of color bucket, color FG-BG, etc.), main drawing board/workspace area in the center, and layers, installed brushes at extreme right. Every window has separate 'close' button unlike you.

    Now is there a way to cut out the SUN text with the image inside to place on another photo?

    • @CandysPantss
      @CandysPantss 6 лет назад

      I would assume you would need to free lasso the text and save it on a transparent background, which you could then paste onto a different background.

      @charlesnorman4676 7 лет назад

      in my humble opinion; i think you shadowed everything and thus made it to busy as well as the blue car in front having its shadow cast the green sharp square lines on your tire. over all a nice banner. remember the middle is for those who use their phones to see your banner is what youtube says anyway. you asked and i hope you take this as friendly feedback on your banner. i do like the background and the color scheme you chose for it. : ) feel free to be brutal with mine.

      What is the picture on the text you used for your youtube intro SRC gaming

    • @LogosByNick
      @LogosByNick  7 лет назад

      I like it. I would maybe add more characters, or maybe bring them in closer so there isn't so much empty space between them. And Charles makes a good point about the motion blur thing. It's a nice touch, I'd just tone it down a bit. Maybe only use it on the characters that are actually in motion. It doesn't make sense on the dude all the way to the right who is standing still. Overall nice work though!
