When I started my Digital Media course and saw we were doing Inkscape then Gimp I was afraid it would be terrible, but to my great surprise you have made the lesson quite fun. Thank you.
Yo Nick! Your vids pushed me over the edge of finally switching to Linux. I love it man! Thanks for all the mind juice awesomeness. I don't skip any of your ads, even the loooooong winded trashy ones. Keep it up.
another great video Nick, thanks again for the Avant work that you did for me this week, I cut it last night and it did good and looks great. thank you for helping me with the problems that I was having.
That looks cool! I bet some lava splashes, and other materials, would look interesting. Depends on the source photo. It is amazing how many specialized photos are available on Google. Thanks.
Hi, i have a question, i remember with older gimp versions i could add an objet (crop) cut it from one image and past it to another image (the background image) and then i could erase the object's contours (by simply using the eraser) so i could see the background image exemple: i cut an airplane image from a gray sky background and past it to an image that has a nice blue sky background and then erase the airplane's grey sky color around it. i cant find out how to do it with lates 2.10.20 version. ..
It's not happening..the chocolate is occurring with black background nd then it's background is not changing to the orange background of our pic...what should i do?
Use the Paths Tool and Guides to create the shapes in a new layer. Use some gradients to colour and drop some gaussian blurs to create the shadowy effect. There's also a brush for that Gimp logo pre-installed in GIMP 2.10. There you go. Though its been 3 years you prolly figured it out
