quels frissons ! Ce suspens du début, faut pas louper le rythme à l'ouverture... de la bouteille ! C'est là aussi qu'on voit l'artiste et sa french touch !!! Gnark Gnark Gnark !!
Well, there were certainly microphones somewhere. It doesn't mean there were speakers inside the theatre. But there are limits to opera singer vocal projection, and one of them is that they can't make the sound waves come through your computer later on without the assistance of microphones.
@@Yves_Ka Wearing the individual mics are huge different to installing the mics at the hall for a recording purpose. This performance is more like broadway musical with operatic theme if they wear individual mics with volume and voice color adjustment possibility for each person.
@@grr8048 There is no evidence that the singers were wearing mics. You would have been able to see them - just like you do in Broadway musicals - they are worked into the wigs. Traviata is not an operatic "theme" - it is an opera - period!. A modern staging wont EVER change that
In 1:00 is evident how his velum lowers together with covering. That shouldn't happen, that turns the voice nasal, exactly what can be listened here. But he has sense of artistry, despite being non organic in how he builds the music (is impossible to feel the Libiamo, what the music really means).
she's a really bad actress. her acting is the opposite of what's actually happening in that scene. amazing voice, but she can't act to save her life, which is a pity since opera involves singing and acting.
Pretty Yendy is so talented and PRETTY! her name suits her so well.
both tenor and soprano are fantastic
Seriously, no one noticed the perfect timing to crack that champagne bottle? That tenor is a crack!
pretty sure the audience noticed since they gasped and clapped.
He's french. Natural perk.
Visited this exact version of Traviata in Vienna. Absolutely mesmerising experience. Cried heavily during the last act
Not much for modern productions but who cares when you have artists like Yende and Bernheim! Bravo!!
Long live Pretty Yende! She is absolutely fantastic!
She’s absolutely magnificent

Somehow it sounds like they were wearing mics.

How do you listen to opera at home without mics? 🙈🙈🙈🙈

@@Yves_Ka Good that you did not catch it. Good for you.
Great performance, but isn't that a waste of champagne?
Интересно, сколько бутылок шампанского понадобилось, чтобы отрепетировать этот номер )

I knew there was something off with his voice!
Was anyone able to observe that the other lady was jealous that Pretty went to cheer her guy friend? She was not happy.
🤦🏽♀️
Indeed too much vibrato...
I just don't understand why Janet Jackson is trying to sing opera.
Too much vibrato
Wait what ???? Have you listened the original???
Everybody on stage looks bored 😴
I am not a big fan of her voice.
I'm sure you madam sounds much better!!! When and where IS your next performance??😏😏

Vulgaire.
Comment?
It's literally an opera about a courtesan, what do you want? lol
Also, she looks gorgeous, and no more vulgar than any actress on the red carpet.
why?
Pour quoi?
