- Taken off Hi8 master. Shot with a mini-tripod at near right. Excuse the the dark image (a front light would have helped). My friend did another another angle at mixerboard and we did an analogue two camera mix back then. Might remix/upload it someday. We "tapped" sound from mixboard as well, so another thing to remix. Live at Palladium, Örebro, Sweden on November 5th, 1994. Last date of the European tour and with this line-up. Great days!

Гленн Хьюз, обладая великолепным музыкальным слухом и образованием, ,,зажигает " по сей день, ,,отрываясь" по полной программе, как бы за то, что в Rock Band «Deep Purple» находился немного в тени великого Дэвида Ковердэйла, но мне он всегда импонировал, исполняя в рок-композициях и сольные партии и в дуэте с Ковердэйлом !!! Хочется пожелать ему дальнейших творческих успехов !!!

Great stuff. Glenn joined up with the awesome JJ Marsh a while later, and they were a formidable writing and playing team.
Ok well, now my wife, Nancy Gray, found THIS... she can't be controlled lol. She had the privilege of meeting Glenn that year, 1994. Saw him here in San Antonio earlier this year. Can't wait for the 2024 Tour!

I saw Glenn with Europe backing him in Glasgow the month before this. Stunningly good performances from all and great to meet Glenn after the show.

@@mattyboywalker9094 I think that was his first 'proper' UK tour since he straightened himself out. He hadn't really regained any momentum at that point, so it was mainly small clubs. Publicity was lacking at that time too - I only found out earlier on the night he was playing.

It is such a natural thing when Glenn plays the Bass & Sings. I have a lot of respect for the band here. They proved themselves as top class musicians by playing on Glenn’s ‘From Now On’ CD. Their are some intricate moments’You Were Always There’ & ‘Devil In You’, and they were right on top of it. Without doubt they could played on ‘Feel’, as they were much more than ‘Metal Heads’
Well three of them proved themselves pretty good as members of Europe so yes, they are definately pretty good metal heads :p
I'm a big fan of Europe, but Glenn is way more metal than them.@@gastonsaux

brilliant it's hard to get any decent quality film of this line up in 84 Shame he never did an official dvd of burning Japan live in 84 .
Sad to say, but I think at the time there would not be enough of a market for it, to recover the more expensive video production costs. Glenn was still emerging from the darkness at this point and trying to regain the ground he had lost.

The video footage from the Citta Club is up online. Great time capsules of those days. Glenn Hughes touring and recording again after many years under the radar,it was amazing to have Glenn back with us.

Glenn was not as easily controlled as JLT was. At that time too, he was just getting clean and sober.
I have tickets to see Glenn do his Deep Purple show at three separate venues in Sept '23. If you miss this opportunity, you have no excuse.😉
