To my non-British friends, marrow is a fully grown zucchini. Most zucchini that people eat is picked before it grows to full size. I once grew a zucchini (marrow) to the size of a newborn baby! They don’t have much flavour but they have add a nice texture and absorb whatever flavour they’re paired with. Hope this was helpful 😊🥒

There are basic chutney recipes in the Ball canning book. I can't understand how she thinks using a copper pan is not reactive . A stainless pan is used for vinager based, items . And bla apples are not used. A tart fruit is used. A hot pepper in some varieties . Chutney was the first recipe I learned to can and its fun and easy.

I especially noticed your tactic capitalizing the “P in people”. That takes time. I too have vision problems. I had to find my eyes to read your rather long 🥗. I absolutely agree with your original comment. I also know normal people are exhausted by the overused “!”. You can engage without being frustrated or aggressive. Grammar is a lost art thanks to People like you. Have a lovely day. 🙏

The way they say Paella kind of triggers me...they say "pa-yella" when it's supposed to be "pa-éya"

The way the British people act like paella is impossible to pronounce correctly enrages me for some reason. He literally couldn't say it without contorting his whole body. Pie. Ey. Ah.

It's very simple to say but some of these Brits are too arrogant to pronounce it right.

Same here. I kept gritting my teeth and saying loudly, "IT'S PIE-AY-UH"
They also say oregano wrong. They say 'ore-eh-gone-o'

That paella looks more like a thick sauce rather than a rice dish. 😐 I mean, it's not even yellow, it's red all around! Maybe it's the cooking gods punishment for that god-forsaken pronunciation of _paella_ and _chorizo._

Needed to cook longer. Rice should create a nice crispy crust on the bottom.

Nothing abouy that "Paella" was right :P she might as well call it "payella" as she only made a "rice with stuff in it".
