This young fellow has the best voice in the world I heard him the suan. Go I can't write the right words but when I heard it I have tears in my eyes and I play it a couple of times during the week I'm praying for him to keep him save from this wicked rebellious dangerous world ! !?

Hopefully this plague will lift so he can do more live performances while still at peak voice. His recordings are wonderful but that voice needs to be heard by live audiences. He clearly has a great work ethic and perhaps will transition to a fine baritone later

He incredibly lucky. He obviously has reached puberty and still maintaining an angelic voice, unlike many other gifted boy singers who the highly anticipated dawn of puberty became a curse on their singing talents....
This song was recorded in the end of 2019 or beginning of 2020, for a CD released in March of 2020. His voice changed towards the end of 2020.

I think angelic voice is not based on only one tone. Many boys continue singing once their voice changes. An angelic choir consists of all sorts of voices.

Took one minute to go superior.
OK, so here's the deal. I'm getting moments of flat pitch. Also, I'm not convinced a strict, classical, baroque, vocal approach works well for showtunes. Remember, this character from Les Miserables is dying. In this song, he's going to the barricades of a revolution in search of his daughter's love of her life but in the process he doesn't know if he can make it because he's dying; all the while being hunted by a maniac law man who's attempting to arrest him for stealing a loaf of bread. With this rendition, by this LOVELY voice, you get none of that understanding. The voice, here, is simply not the right sound for this character. It's not believable and with all songs, there's a storytelling that takes place.
I completely agree. His producers picked a lowest common denominator piece to appeal to the masses. It is a pity because Cai does have a lovely voice now. In the adult world of classical music we see this mismatch too, and one need not look any further than Kaufmann who has sang roles that he was far from suitable for. But, if Cai were to stick with the classical repertoire - baroque - I think it would be better for now at least. Greatest of luck and good health to him and his family.
Sometimes i understand why they used castral singers for many ears ago. But ofcause you must not destroy others life for your plesure.
He's not castral. Neither are any boys who sing in choirs today. He sings as a baritone today. What a weird and ignorant comment
