All companies should have basic efficient and easy to understand customer service. It really ticks me off due to how many companies, big or small, seem to punish customers for asking them to provide what was paid for undamaged and in purchasable state.
Trying to make a customer pay postage after asking for a refund is pure cheek.

this is literally my dream cosplay and seeing someone else make it come to life is such an incredible feeling. its so inspiring and i just want to keep working on cosplay stuff forever. seeing other people as excited as me about pripara and precure is also suuper lovelyy i hope we will see even more pripara cosplays from you hehe
i love watching these because 1) i love crafting videos 2) you're incredibly talented 3) you have such a great way of breaking down everything so that someone like me who is a beginner cosplayer, and doesn't have a lot of experience with sewing can understand what you're doing and the techniques you use to do certain things
a flame on the resin can help get bubbles out for the future but looks so amazing truly loved this series!!

Yes! I've also used BIC multi-purpose lighters (the kind with extended tips) for this as well☆

For resin you’re supposed to use heat to pop bubbles. A lot less trouble, too! This costume is amazing btw

If you go over the resin with a lighter you can get the ait bubbles out, heating the mould also helps.

I love all of this! I have had a huge down turn in inspiration, and it's been coming back lately. Chappell Roan has inspired me to play with make-up more and after seeing this I am sure I want to finish my cape I haven't finished for cosplay, and start other things :D. It looks beautiful!

Dropping in on the resin thing, use a hot blow gun to get rid of the bubbles better. Make sure its on a place thats not too cold. Or use air dryer with hot setting to get rid of the bubbles.

Wow. That's really terrible customer service. They basically broke the contract between business and customer by ripping you off. You were really polite in your communications, and I totally didn't understand what they were saying about $12USD. Like they repeated it but it just didn't make sense because why is that important? They sent you faulty product, it's on them to make it right, not on you to make sure they make a certain profit. Ugh I have thankfully been out of customer service for over a decade, this $12 policy would have done my head in.

The lace parts came out amazing! I hate working with lace, you made it behave so well!
Resin bubbles come out with a lighter pretty easily but it's not foolproof. I think the good clay was the right choice.

I make resin dice for fun and you can run a torch/lighter over the resin (briefly and carefully!) to pop those super tiny annoying bubbles which really helps

ahh this came out amazingly! wonderful work! also, re: whopper poppers, i think it was lizard leigh who mentioned them recently-and i’ve also heard the term used in regular theater costume shops, not just drag!
Next time you use resin, maybe you should use a lighter, like more specifically those ones that look like mini torches, because that'll get some of those top bubbles popped before the resin cures. It might even get some of those ones in the middle to dislodge so all you have to do is sand the back down.
I'm not super into anime, manga, and video games nor am I a cosplayer (I'm pretty much just into alternative fashion), but I love the aesthetics and have so much admiration for people who make their costumes. This is gorgeous and amazing! 😍🤩 I'm truly impressed by their skills and dedication! 🌈🦄💖✨

This cosplay is amazing but I’m SO distracted by that bad customer service story lmao, “if we refunded you you’d actually owe us 5 dollars” sounds like an actual scam to me especially if that (fucking wild) policy isn’t made clear when you’re purchasing. It’s literally not your fault they sent you a damaged product in the order you fully paid for up front! “That would bring the total of your order down so free shipping wouldn’t apply” That’s not how buying stuff works!! I’m sorry I’m going to wake up in a cold sweat tonight thinking about this lmao what were they thinking

The cameos look amazing! Just a resin tip, you can use a lighter to get rid of bubbles a bit better than using a pokey bit. :)
6:00 I'm not an expert in dyeing or anything, but I wonder if a double-boiler/water bath might work here--like, have a pot of boiling water then put the smaller glass jars inside to keep them hot? Maybe a dyexpert can chime in here ~
