Re: the succulent plant, they throw little above-ground roots like that when they’re a bit stressed. It’s basically reaching out for nutrients! It’s not uncommon for desert plants like that during the Canadian winter. You might need to repot it with some specialty soil and give it a good soak - then just let it be, it’s good for them to go a bit dormant this time of year. It’s not very leggy so light probably isn’t the issue!

@@Pixielocks you’re welcome! I hope it’s helpful! Here’s a bonus tip: if she drops a bunch of those scrungled leaves towards the base of the plant, those little roots make it SUPER easy to just chop the whole branch off the plant and stick it in a new pot/soil, and then you have two happy plant friends! Succulents are pretty adaptable but they can be drama queens about it.

literally OBSESSED with the sailor moon bangs and I soo badly wish my hair would do that too. I cut my own bangs like the first time a few years ago since not having bangs for most of my life but I can't even do straight bangs bc I have a weird cowlick in the middle and it just kinda parts awkwardly and doesn't do some cute middle part or anything, it's like one side sticks out more than the other?? I don't have a curling iron or anything and I'm hesitant to use heat on my hair regularly so I may try slightly curling my bangs some other way bc I've been obsessed with that bang style lately. also it looks sooo cute on you. idk if it would even look that good on me so I'm jealous lmaooo. my hair is like so thin/fine so my bangs just don't give much but I hate how I look without bangs.

isn't intimidated by the dissociating...I often dissociate myself into the yonder void...or just into my skull noggin and completely forget about my body. And then I trip over and sprain my ankle...legit, both my physio and people who have done ultruasounds on my feet/legs have been whooaa so many injuries

Not sure when you filmed this. I just had this exact same experience. In the same sequence as you described what you were feeling. I have had vertigo in the past but this time it’s been different. My recent blood work came back good, no anemia. & just like you said even though you did all the right things. (Eat, take vitamin etc etc)…These episodes just keep happening.

I am always down for some sweet baby cat footage 😻 such precious beans! I am not really a Christmas human, I'm definitely more of a spooky girl. Like I hype up to Halloween and then get pretty depressed till like February maybe even March. Holidays just really bum me out. I did try this year though and bought my first Christmas tree! It's just a table top tree (we don't have much room in my apartment) but I like it a lot! My partner and I have very different aesthetics so I try to find a good compromise for us both, so our tree is white with black and silver ornaments. It looks so cute and she loves it, so that makes it worthwhile for me. Anyways, I hope you and Stevie have a wonderful holiday ❤

Looks like your plant might have root rot. You can check by pulling at the base of the 'string' and if it comes right out, or really moves at all without pulling up the soil, there's no roots. Those guys need chunkier soil. Their roots are so fine, the soil compacts easily around them and then if you go a little too long without watering the soil becomes hydrophobic and the roots shrivel a bit. And then we tend to try to give it more water, and then the water penetrates! But the roots can't take it, so they just get soggy and rot.
Another sign of root rot is when the plant shrivels up, it tries to send out some growth or roots somewhere else. So you can clip it right below those new roots, let it dry out a bit (til it goes matte instead of shiney) and then stick it in a plastic baggie with a damp paper towel, or on some wet perlite. It'll root right up!
Having technology that is slow can be so demotivating to do any type of work, I fully get that. I remember when I upgraded my laptop for uni IT WAS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR❤

Honestly I only do a big cooking thingie like this once a weekish 🥺 then it’s leftovers or simple meals that can be made in like 15-30 mins! We also work from home and often don’t even leave the house so don’t be too harsh on yourself for not having energy!!! 🫶🏻 But if you’d like to try starting the weekly cooking thingie, picking one day and a recipe ur really excited about is how I got in the groove 🥺🫶🏻
