  • @MFEGoingDeep while exploring in and around Ebeemee Lake I discovered a deep pool a short ways below the outlet in what would be considered the East Branch of the Pleasant River. Thinking this spot might hold some fish I decided it was worth a look. This was a challenging spot with the current and rocks that seemed to hide extremely well till the last minute but did manage to get a quick look at a Brook trout, potentially 2 if it wasn’t the same fish twice. They’re stocked further down the river but wouldn’t be surprised if this was a native fish. Certainly not the biggest fish that’s been captured on video so far but really neat to find it deep at the bottom of this pool under the lights! Most likely a more active spot come springtime. 👍🐟

Did a double take at the start, I thought you were taking a picture of either a beaver or an otter!! had to play it over to notice the tether on the " FIFISH "!! I think there are a lot more trout then showed up in the rather cloudy water as I could see some real faint shadows moving in the background, some realy nice trout too!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! 😆😆👍👍👍👍💟🙈🙉🙊
