- After a bit of a wait, the final major chapter for patch 10.1 has been released. A flame, extinguished deals with the aftermath of embers of neltharion. Aberrus has mostly been cleared. Wrathion and Sabellian have learned some lessons. Now it's time to talk about the future of their flight... I hope you'll enjoy ^_^

After quitting Athelarius' jigsaw puzzle lore videos, these cohesive and chronological lore videos are such a gift for people like me who follow the WoW's lore and don't play the game itself. Thank you Nobbel!
Yeah around 5 videos with the same cutscenes except in different orders or 1 scene isn't the same is a little annoying.
Finally Blizzard actually doing storytelling.

i really liked this choice, even the sub-roles of the 2 is perfect

"you are every bit the dragon i am" that made me screech happy noises the first time i saw this seeing the two of them going from rivals to the throne to actual brothers were some of the best i could have hoped for with these two
Ebon horn always seemed like the best choice for Earth warder. I still remember questing through Highmountain in Legion and seeing him reveal he is an uncorrupted black dragon was so cool. Really hyped to see him in this position going forward.

I wonder if Wrathion will ever go to the Red Dragon flights shrine and leave a small token of thanks to the dragon that let him live free of his father's madness, now that he is seeing things differently thanks to Ebyssian. Maybe even meet her child at some point.
A bit hard to do that since the dragon who did that was killed by Deathwing himself. And her child becomes a trinket adventurers can equip.
@@philippeblais8594 I know that she died, but showing a little sign of thank you can still be done. Her child may be a trinket but that hasn't stopped Blizz with messing with things.

Beautiful story end for that patch!
What a lovely ending and the dracthyr party afterwards just felt like a convention room party just everyone there to enjoy eachother and recover.
I'm genuinely happy for Abyssain. Thousands of years of acting as a shaman, guiding people to respect the earth. Everything Neltharion should have done.
The perfect choice
I loved the conclusion to this story. I can't wait to see your video on the Blue Dragonflight quests, that one is so good too
idk if ebonhorn will end up the aspect (or even if we will still have aspects), but I find the idea that his "mortal" form being a Tauren, which themselves are connected to the EARTHmother, gives him a balanced perspective on things, being a black dragon

Out of three Ebyssian was the best choice. We want Wrathion to hang with us like he used to after all.
Oh man, I stopped playing wow several years ago, but I really liked this video as memory of old, when I was still playing wow and watching every nobbels lore video! Damn, thank you for this memory, unfortunately I no longer care about wow lore at all, as it was dragged through the mud :D

I really like how it went. Thats what I wished for to happen and it makes me happy that Ebonhorn is the new Aspectand that Wrathion and Sabellian found their way. A really good and solid story. Maybe Ebonhorn will get Aspect powers after powering up Tyr.
If the Aspects bless the Tree again, than this time the World Tree gets blessing from all the Aspects.

I still wish wrathion became aspect. I love that Batman-like mindset of willing to compromise morality I favor of accomplishment of goals, but Ebonhorn is a good choice. Maybe with all the time travel stuff that’s happening next patch, time will skip forward to another lunar alignment so we can get out new aspects
So do the aspects have all of their power back? That's the most confusing thing so far. They were at the height of their power before giving some to empower the demon soul and then they gave all of it up to assist Thrall and us to defeat Deathwing. How powerful are they now? Were they re-empowered yet this xpac?
I don't think they've been empowered as Aspects yet, but each flight does at least now have a designated leader who will be empowered.
Sacrificed a bit of their power into the demon soul.
Rhonin sliced open the demon soul, restored their powers to full.
Cataclysm, they used big portion of their power to stop Deathwing. Big portion is vague, enough to become mortal and not be able to maintain their domains without help of mortals.
That's where they still are so Ebb as aspect is title only atm.
We tried repowering them and faile,d will prob finish that near the end of expansion OR not at all, which i'd find a more interesting story.
I can't seem to get this to happen. I can go inside but then there is nothing I can do once I enter except walk around and fight. Can't talk to anyone
Part of me wants to play WoW again...i haven't since legion when i burnt out hard...but the cost to get all the DLC's and then a monthly sub to a game that's old and who's company is constantly doing shady stuff has me worried...what if they do something so bad that it all crumbles? I can't deal with such uncertainty
You just need to buy the current expansion now, the others come along with just a sub, your concern is not unfair tho, this expansion has been great so far but who knows what they're gonna do in the future
Future always is uncertain. Play it for now as you wish

@@cris_heals maybe if we do succeed in re-empowering them their new models could appear as a transformation in the cutscene. I think that would look cool as opposed to all the other characters who get new models just being like "what? I've always looked this way."

The lore i belive in is that we inhaled too much of the fumes at wrath gate and we are halusinating all of this cuz of our dying brain and after the nightmare is over we wake up at a field hospital only to face the true litch king once more
I like the dragon stuff. I roll my eyes at *another* world tree (Nordrassil is right there Blizzard), but I like the dragon stuff.
I think I've missed something but I thought we were also missing the green aspect. Where did she come from? Is there a video I can watch to learn about this part? Thanks!

nobbel if you can see this i had a weird question how many in game years has it been cent cataclysm to dragonflight?
The Cataclysm started in the Year 28 and ended at the end of Year 29. Dragonflight begins at the start of Year 40. So if you want from the start of Catacylsm it would be 12 Years and if you want during Cataclysm it might be 11 Years. - I know I'm not Nobbel, just wanna help out.
I wish we had more WCIII Thrall's New Horde lore and content. Orcs, Trolls, Ogres, Goblins and the Tauren
Play the orc heritage armor or baine questline in ohnaran plains :)

Did they fix the red dragon flight aspect power up? Alextraza tried but couldent do it. Thats all i know.
She was trying to empower ALL the would be Aspects, and No it didn’t work. They are all still mortals.

how long ago does anyone suspect that Ebyssian had been slated to become the new Earth-Warder? maybe as early as Highmountain?
He felt like the right choice from the moment he was introduced, but I never thought they would make another Black Aspect back then. Super happy with how this has turned out.

Meh. I'd still rather give it to Wrathion. We've worked with the guy for way longer. Cataclysm arrives and he's just out there chillin' in the isles.

General and Diplomat? Which is which?
General Sabellian - he knows too little of modern Azeroth and has the Black Dragon army behind him. Diplomat Wrathion- though his spy network and connection to major figures on modern Azeroth- he is in the possession of knowledge that Sabellian and Ebyssian lack.
I'm just glad all three stayed "good", and none were twisted by corruption in typical Blizzard fashion. And not being an Aspect free Wrathion to hang out with the player characters more.

I'm all for ebonhorn and knew he was best for the job, but he accepted that way too fast, like yes they NEED the black aspect god's I hope blizzard don't do a swerve.

The ones on sabellian and wrathion? I think it's because they're npcs involved in the scenario/quest. Or maybe they're just extra fabulous 😊 the ones on nobbels character look like part of his gear lol
Damn your char looks good in this cutscene, I love how mine looks in game but I swear they don't give Draenei facial animations in these cutscenes, my guy has such resting bitch face all the time
Boo !! This sucks so much. Wrathion should have taken his father's place. I'm glad I dropped the game years ago. The ever so predictable writers never fail to disappoint me.

@@mireiyu6623 Ebyssian is just some Gary Stu invented by Bliz writers because they wanted a Tauren leading a Dragonflight.
Even worse, he's barely even been in the story at all. If Wrathion reminds you of a spoiled child, it's because they write him that way. Now whay is that?
As someone else said, Ebonhorn only works if he succumbs to the whipers. Otherwise, it's a case of cringey bliz writing as usual. They couldn't have Thrall as the Earth Warden but they managed to get a Horde type in there anyway.
