I had my one of these blowing smoke a while back drilling a massive oak beam! So I havn't stripped it down yet but with your experience, would that generally indicate a burnt out armature or the field coil?

@@carlstanton2550good customer service maybe? Sure he doesn’t have to clean it, lube it etc but would be nice if he did. Who would you go to to fix your tools? The guy who will also clean it or the one who won’t?

Why would he clean somebody else's drill?he repairs things,it's up to the owner of the drill to clean it.
