Genius! This shows just how much you know about all the different machines you work on. To recognise a small part from a completely different manufacturer would fit this machine, then go about replacing that part at such a small cost to your customer... It's no wonder you constantly have so many machines waiting to be fixed. People must come from miles around to get you to fix the machines that most other repair shops would probably turn away as unfixable! These videos are not only great entertainment, but they are a great advert for your expertise and give others handy tips and tricks to fix their own machines! Great work, Dean! Keep 'em coming and you'll be at 100k in no time!
You Sir are an absolute lad! I learned so much from your videos, now I am confident to tackle almost any repair job. Recently bought a Bosch GSH 11 E, put a service kit in it and now it's working excellent at a 1/5th of the cost of a new one !
Almost to 100k brother I love your work. It brings me joy to see all these old tools being fixed. I wish there were places like yours here in the states.
I usually watch your videos on Facebook.. I realised the other day that this guy tells us what is wrong with the tool before he's even had a chance to open it up. Just presses the trigger and he's like 'thats the 5th solder joint on the left hand side of the board that seems to have gone' 😂 and 99% of the time he's correct.
For the record, in German Erbauer means "builder/architect" in the sense of someone who oversees the project rather than doing the physical work, while Bauer means "farmer/peasant".
I’m a relatively new fan here. How in the hell did you learn how all these tools work from all the different brands? While I’m sure there are similarities between them, did you take classes for this trade? You’re a steely-eyed- fixing-man! So glad to watch but astounded at how you fix all these tools! ❤
Enjoy your videos. I'd say it's better to fix it with any part that fits vs buying a now tool. A good mechanic knows how to "fix" things, not just replace parts.
What a great fix to keep the machine running. Why no parts available do the company who makes them think there never go I g to break. Something to think about when buying 👍👍
Question. I have a couple of these drills. One was in storage for a bit. Just use it at home. But I noticed an oily grease around the batt. I thought it was the batt leaking. But after wiping around it. It was more of a yellow substance. Could the oil/grass lube trickle down from the inner shaft ? I ask because. I have a second one for work. Just started using it. The oil / lube is doing the same on the housing plastic at the top. Did I just get a couple of quirky drills. 18v sds erbauer drill. I’ll pop them a mail but just curious if you’ve ever come across it. Cheers. The videos are great
I'd love to meet the guys who decided " let's use sirclips that don't have pliers tip holes ......to piss of and annoy every tech on the planet" . I have butchered at least 4 perfectly good sirclips pliers in the pursuit of the perfect tool for them. It's not enough just to grind them flat.....the c clips also have a sneaky slanted bevel to throw off your pliers and crush your fingers. The most recent was a 50mm diameter clip....4mm x 3mm profile , recessed into a pump shaft. And I know there's a proper tool for the....but where's the fun in that.
I do a lot of drilling through strainers and fencing what heavy duty drill would you recommend Also looking for a oscillating multi tool and angle grinder all cordless
How Aya Dean! I have a Parkside battery chainsaw that will only run at low speed. On high it keeps cutting out after a few seconds. Any help would be much appreciated
Try pulling it with vise-grips otherwise disassemble the tool holder. I once bought an SDS to normal chuck adapter on a chinese "euro" store, the thing was so badly made and out of spec that I couldn't get it out of my machine, I had to clamp it on a vise to remove it.
Many years of experience making it look easy, buying this brand of tool isnt that bad an option, DeWalt discontinued a part for my nailgun so there isn't much difference between them, all throwaway when broken
The lack of parts for both Lidl and Aldi power tools has been one of the reasons I've not bought any drills or drivers. The exception has been a rechargeable reciprocating saw from Lidl which has performed flawlessly for the last five years. I suppose the 3 year warranty provides some degree of comfort as the products are of reasonable quality for DIY use.
I used the 3 yr warranty on a big powerful SDS drill from Lidl a week after i bought it. I managed to rattle it to death in 5 days hahaha My Bosch SDS i bought 8 years ago is still working fine and has done a ton more than the Lidl one ever did.

Your a legend . I just fixed my Milwaukee grinder thanks to your videos 👍
Just fixing the exact same model for my son , wasn't sure how the sds chuck came off, i know now👍 thank you

Surely worth to fix for a tool like that! Great video awesome inspiration 🎉🎉
Nice to read in the comments some people start fixing their own tools

Well done Dean on the 100k views and well deserved, thanks for all the time you give to the people.
Good value repair!
I've had a couple of erbauerer tools, excellent value
A cousin of Bauer from Harbor Freight… Er-Bauer… great video as always
For the record, in German Erbauer means "builder/architect" in the sense of someone who oversees the project rather than doing the physical work, while Bauer means "farmer/peasant".
That's definitely worth it!! 👍👍👍👍
You know the ins and outs of every tool.Love your explanation of each part and its function.Keep doing more such videos
Türkiye'den selamlar, gerçekten harika işler yapıyorsun, sayende çok şey öğrendim çok teşekkürler videolar için. 👏👏

Good job, nice fix. Keep up the great videos
Nice job Dean. Waiting for the next zone
Well done Dean!!! Top Job.
100k🎉
Good stuff Dean 👏🏻
Thank you 🙌
Thank you Sir
Fantastic. The clip looks difficult if I were doing it myself.....but well worth doing
Nice one and def worth it! Bosch being the master of modifications, that part number might have changed again the moment you dropped this vid, lol

Quality video as ever

Good job keep up the good work 👍
What a great fix to keep the machine running. Why no parts available do the company who makes them think there never go I g to break. Something to think about when buying 👍👍
thats simply why they can sell them at a low price. they are classed as disposable. suppling spare parts adds an extra cost to the price of the tools

I see what you mean about comparing prices , Its a use and abuse till it breaks

18v sds erbauer drill.
I’ll pop them a mail but just curious if you’ve ever come across it.

The videos are great
Great repair. At £160 I would get the DeWalt of a similar price because you can get parts

Macguyver 😅
At 51 seconds you can see in the top left hand corner of the box is another part that you missed! 😉
I do a lot of drilling through strainers and fencing what heavy duty drill would you recommend

Nice one 👍
Well done. By the way don't you just hate cir-clips
How Aya Dean! I have a Parkside battery chainsaw that will only run at low speed. On high it keeps cutting out after a few seconds. Any help would be much appreciated
@deandohertygreaser Congratulations on 100000 subscribers well deserved sir 👏
That is definitely worth fixing at that price.
I just don’t know how you know where everything goes back.
I’m stunned . You should be working for NASA,..lol. Very clever. 😉
Shame you can't put together an ifixit for tools. You basically do everything step by step anyway. Landfill would thank you.
Hey, I have a quick question if you break off an SDS bit in the end how the fuck you get out when it’s bent
Try pulling it with vise-grips otherwise disassemble the tool holder.
I once bought an SDS to normal chuck adapter on a chinese "euro" store, the thing was so badly made and out of spec that I couldn't get it out of my machine, I had to clamp it on a vise to remove it.
I wouldn’t have paid 160 for that, you can get a decent makita or dewalt for that sort of money
Erbauer is a big hardware store brand, so no wonder you cannot get most parts for it.
Funny, how you just doubled the price of that Erbauer drill🤣 It looks "like a Bosch" fixes them all
140eur. its a copy of bosch's GBH 18v-EC
Many years of experience making it look easy, buying this brand of tool isnt that bad an option, DeWalt discontinued a part for my nailgun so there isn't much difference between them, all throwaway when broken
If he'd found all the bits he could have just replaced the circlip
