Something I noticed was possibly another missed reference. From the Fleeing the Complex video, there was a character named Lil’ Mikey which was thought to have been a reference to typical rapper names, but I think it’s more likely a reference to “The Green Mile.” 1: The characters shoes are green, 2: The character in the green mile being referenced has an actor with the name Michael (Michael Clarke Duncan). 3: The bio states that the guy is innocent and that he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. This is what happens to the character Michael Duncan plays in the film. A guy arrested for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. 4: The “Lil” part of the name is a joke on how the actual character is a giant, but acts more like a scared child. Just something I thought I’d put here.

27:16 It could be that Puff intentionally put down the wrong answer jingle purposefully. In the game, there is also a "lie" button. This is used when Cole has evidence that the person is lying. But, using doubt is not interchangeable with lie and is still possible to get it wrong in LA Noire. So in this scene, maybe the guard had evidence that Ellie and Henry is lying, but chose doubt instead.

10:20 This may have been mentioned before but the way the commander screams Henry reminded me and a lot of my friends about a kids show in the UK called "Horrid Henry" where a reoccurring trope was Henry's name being screamed by his parents because he is so mischievous. During the point where you and Charles are crawling through the vents, Charles sings "Crawling through the vents. These" before getting interrupted. This is a reference to the song "Crawling" by Linkin Park, where the full lyric is "Crawling through my skin. These wounds, they will not heal."

So Henry can metalbend and earthbend, and Ellie can use the Force... In addition to recorded criminal actions, those abilities make them frighteningly powerful. Maybe that's a good reason the Wall was so insistent on hunting them down in the Pure Blooded Thief/Convict Allies path of Completing the Mission. That seems like a long distance and a lot of resources to pursue 2 people, so it had to be a worthwhile goal. I wonder if a similar pursuit was attempted in any of the other Convict Allies paths but didn't get very far...

In the Revenged path of CtM, it's worth noting that the name of Right Hand Man's spirit is likely a triple reference. The name seems to be a play on the song "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce, the spirit being named this way is likely based on JoJo stands being named after music (For instance, Killer Queen), and the alteration of the name could potentially be a reference to how stand names are often changed when they're localized to English, so as to be more copyright friendly.

Here’s one that I think is a thing, and if it is you missed it:
In your first video on Infiltrating the Airship, you questioned why there was a horse’s neigh before the turn based section. This whole scene seems to be a generic Western references, with the poses being similar to preparing a quick draw, and all the fights ending from a one shot kill. I think it might also be poking fun at the fact that in these games the characters just wait around for an attack and don’t make any attempts at defense or evasion, something that really would only happen in these sorts of duels. This might also be supported by the fact that the next turn based section is an Undertale reference, a game which specifically calls out the absurdity of waiting for your opponent to attack you and not dodging in turn based combat.

You might've missed a reference in Infiltrating the Airship. One of the portraits of Toppat leaders has one leader wielding a golden gun, specifically a Desert Eagle. This could be a reference to Nicholas Cage's character in the movie Face/Off, where he wields twin, gold-plated Desert Eagles. Might be worth a deeper look into!
Also, would like to re-mention, in Stealing the Diamond, the guard you drop the Tunisian Diamond on, has a rifle. In the Flash version, it was an AK-style rifle, while in the updated version he's using something more akin to an M4 or M16-style rifle, which would make sense to update as the setting is in the United States, not a former Soviet Union country.

No idea if it was intentional or not but during the Stickmin Space Resort ending, there is a character named Elizabeth Greene. This is the same name of one characters from [PROTOTYPE].

The "BOOM! Headshot." Text fail from StD's "intruder on a scooter" ending could also be a reference to TF2's "meet the sniper" youtube video, where our sniper says the same quote as he's poking a figurine with a head attatched to a Spring.
Keep up the good work 👍👍

TF2 is reference Pure Pwnage as well, same as Puff.
I think he eventually confirmed that? I could be mistaken, if Puff has ever said otherwise.

At 22:01 - due to the fact that the stands are still on the gun, it could be a reference to the Awper hand from tf2, a promotional item for sniper.
Also the sandwich choice In ftc is probably a tf2 sandvich reference.
Anouther possible reference is that the “neurotoxin” fail could be a reference to the portal series’s since Glados constantly threatened chel with deadly neurotoxins

I'm thinking the Bull Statue in Stealing the Diamond might be a vague reference to the Worms series, to a weapon called the Concrete Donkey. I think in some titles it stood on a similar pedestal.

13:45 Al Kohaul may be a reference to the Simpsons episode where Bart asks Moe if there is an Al Coholic in the bar

The Part in collection where Henry wakes up might be a reference to Eddsworld. An episode about a fight about bacon. The person who took care of Tord and Edd in the hospital sounded identical to the women from Henry.

I’m pretty sure it is, the similarities are uncanny. Also there is another TF2 reference in this room about a TF2 meme, so it’s pretty likely.

Al Kohaul could also be a reference to the Simpsons with Barts many prankcalls to Moe’s Tavern and asking if there’s somebody there which always is a joke name like Al Koholic where Moe says: Is there an Al Koholic here?
Or in another episode you have Mike Rotch, Lee Keybum or Homer Sexual.

Ryan Halberd might Also Be a Play on The Halberd, Meta Knight's Battleship in Kirby Super Star, Which makes Sense considering FtC actually has Made a Kirby Reference with The Warp Star

  • @MrReVersed

Ryan halberd is probably a reference to the Ship of Meta Knight named "halberd" from the Kirby series

A halberd is also a type of medieval weapon. That's where Meta Knight's ship would have taken the name from

Now I don't know about this for sure, but at the beginning of the Jewel Baron route in Completing the Mission, when Burt Curtis is notifying Reginald about the hostile object approaching, the portrait window that pops up around Reginald seems very reminiscent of the text box style of Persona 5. That jagged style contrasted with black outlines seems too specific not to be the case, but the use of yellow throws me off a bit.

So the reason why it was "Shine get!" in the Japanese version was because, they wanted to differentiate it from Shi-ne, which is Japanese for "Die" Just imagine Mario beating the level then the game telling you to die.
