Boxing needs to take advantage of social media by taking account of the response of viewer opinion and interest and let that carry some weight openly! Like let us feel like our clicks have a degree of determining the direction! More importantly in fights where all the belts are on the line for undisputed there should be a rematch clause for draws and ultra close fights of controversy like this one! that’s where they could let the fans have a voice in the decision of having a rematch!

@@jsj31313jj that doesn’t make sense, some of the best boxers ever have been known to bruise up easier than others. Look at Calzaghe for instance he barely got hit but when he did it would bruise. Guy finished undefeated.

Good fight in terms of action, but I think BOTH fighters missed big opportunities & played it way too safe in this type of fight with this level of magnitude. For all the talking on BOTH sides, I didn't see that emotion & intensity in many key moments of the fight. I don't think Loma used hus footwork & angles effectively on the inside, & I believe if he would have done more to keep Haney turning & readjusting, as he is highly capable of, he could & would have pretty much dominated the action & outscored a young Haney. Loma also didn't put the proper investment in his JAB to set things up better & keep Haney confused/hesitant. Loma walked forward more than I expected against the bigger Haney, but he rarely capitalized, & was inactive many times, as he took unnecessary shots. He had good head movement for the most part & should have been advised to throw the JAB off each slip to create a pause in Honeys response. Thought Loma did just enough for a split decision, don't believe it was a robbery, don't think Haney is as good as he believes he is, & I think Loma didn't look as fluid, instinctive, & "chess-like" in his overall approach. Loma can still be a factor but, lack of consistent ring time has definitely hurt his rhythm & flow in actual fights. All the unique, technical training in the world can't override or replace reacting to actual fighters in unpredictable scenarios.

You can't give away early rounds every fight and try to rally back and think you're going to win. It was close but this cry baby lost. He needed the 12th round and he lost it just like the Teo fight

The fight should've been a split decision but I know that Haney still won that fight, it was just closer than the score cards showed. They were moving fast pace in the early rounds so that most likely tired Haney in the second half of the fight. If not for the body shots by Haney that slowed down Loma in the early rounds I believe Loma would've won the fight.
The most impactful punches were the body shots Haney was throwing. Loma got some nice jabs throughout the fight and some flurry of punches in at times but most were missed...it was a close championship fight but Haney took it looking at the damage done. Also I just want to say Loma was the better man throughout the build up and till the end of the fight, you don't see many talented, professional and humble mannered champions like him. ✊👊✌️
For ALL you mf's that keep saying Loma won the last three rounds, he said himself that he didn't think he had to win round 12.
I think it was clear he won all three of those rounds. Loma is being Humble and knows it is best not to look silly by asserting as much without seeing it from the outside. But from the outside, which is where it is scored from, it was a clear win in those rounds.
Because he was ahead on the previous rounds. Not that that is the mindset he (Loma) should be having in a fight, let alone for all the belts
