@ lol !!! January should be our summertime, but the mornings and evenings are quite chillly… plus we have had extreme winds!!! (I’m in Auckland, never snows here). There has just been snow in the middle of our North Island 😱 and the ferry crossings between North and South Island had been cancelled for several days due to high winds. ❤️
Good example showing both purl side and knit side. Any chance you could please purl in the round from the beginning of the project? It could be the size of a baby hat, doesn’t have to be big. The reason being is something may occur to you that you do with your tension, or a tip or trick doing 1x1 rib in the round, raglan increases? TIA
@ question: on the cowl can you please clarify something please? For the top and bottom, which color did you use on your right pin? I’m assuming for the bottom you had the white yarn on your right pin. And for the top you had the orange on your right pin? Am I correct?
Thank you for this video. I am just learning Portuguese knitting in the last few months and this is one of the exact questions I had. What if I want my light color on the left side because I want it to be dominant? If this light color floats more than the dark, I am finding that I cannot trap using the method that you show in some of your videos By the way, I bought the classes I have to do the floats on the purl side by putting the dominant color over instead of coming from underneath when floating I hope that makes sense If not, I can send a video
@@sueevans33 yes, you can determine what color goes where to be the dominant. The way you trap one color is different from the other. I show both in my videos. Which one you can do?
@ can you tell me which video the 2 methods of trapping are in? I purchased the master class… and watched the color one but I don’t remember seeing 2 methods . I’ll check again
@AndreaWongKnits I found where you show both methods. My lighter color is on the left… and I also want that color dominant. So I will purl with both colors and take one away. That should work… I’ll try it. Thank you so much. I am amazed at your prompt responses!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this video.
@@TheJazzbeary most welcome. Any requests?
