I bought a 99 TA and its got the umi torque arm as well, but as soon as I hit the fast pedal, it makes a clunking noise from the rear but i can't pinpoint where its coming from. Seems all the Bushings are good. Any help what to look for is appreciated man. Great vid!

I had to clearance the sheet metal next to the torque arm on the driver side. When I would hit a decent bump. The Torque Arm would hit the transmission tunnel. I had to hammer it out. It was a big PITA. Hope this might help.

Hey throck, I believe you bought a shorter torque arm when u needed same length. I thought I was crazy but I had bought a tunnel mounted when I needed a tailshaft mounted torque arm

Can I ask what you have for ground clearance from the bracket for the tunnel mount torque arm? Just deciding if want to do that with car being on street way more than track.

Tunnel is rough, real rough for a street car. For stock height it is bare able. Lower car pain in the butt.

I knew as soon as you mentioned the bolt going down that you had aviation experience.
