Not surprised it took some planning Chris. Lighting is awesome. The green orange background lighting matches your thumbnails, so some branding there. Over the shoulder shots. Wide two shots. His successful, humble, open about his struggles, doesn't act superior, emphasis on his family, well spoken. His a true champ and a fantastic role model 👏 👏
Chris has without any doubt the best mindset of everyone involved in the bodybuilding industry. The way he talks and present himself and then actually walk the talk separate him from the rest.
Depends on who you compare him to! His kind of mindset is not rare among top-performing bodybuilders, it's just that they're rarely invited to this caliber of conversations where their mindset could really be highlighted this well.

I am 37 now and I‘m absolutely stunned by how „far“ both Chrisses are on their individual paths but especially how far Bumstead already got understanding himself and his childhood traumas at the age of 28. that to me is insane. I can identify with so many conclusions of his and i think many younger men and boys will be inspired by this and feel encouraged to begin their personal journey earlier. Guys listen closely to this, this is gold. Thank you for your openness. I would have never imagined you are that strong underneath all that muscle
I appreciate Chris’s acknowledgement towards his anxiety and his empathy. He is truly so humble and makes a great idol to young men in the fitness industry. I’m glad he is who he is and influencing young men in the right direction
I must admit, this podcast is among the finest I've come across. Aside from the exceptional questions and esteemed guests, Chris, you continue to impress. Keep up the fantastic work!
Full of admiration for this man as the persona he is. Humble, reflected, thoughtful. A role model. And besides a gifted athlete. Great interview. Thanks a lot.
I am currently going through a breakup and have made the promise to myself that I am going to come back better and stronger. These podcasts drastically helped improve my mentality and how I can simply achieve what I want to if I just do it. No excuses. It may not seem like much but I am focusing all of my time on myself; hitting the gym even harder, smashing PR’s, eating more calories, getting more sleep, not focusing on other people’s perception of me. After actually struggling through that I have realised that the breakup was actually a blessing. I haven’t felt this good in a long time and the whole change in mentality is what I believed caused it.
Oh now I get why the best docs & interviews feel very different than general YT pods, the quality of this is top notch Chris. Cinematic & crisp af, propa industry leading stuff. Will be feeling the wisDOMS from this one for a while.

Thank you so much cbum for being vulnerable and expressing your emotions. More men need to do this. And to Chris Williamson, thank you so much for creating one of the greatest and necessary podcasts around. I'm a big advocate of men crying. The world needs more tears. Only then can we begin to heal.
The quality of this conversation and production is unmatched. I didn’t know who the guest was at first and would have never been exposed to his wisdom if it wasn’t for this podcast. Thanks Chris and Chris!
Only 18 minutes in and I'm incredibly touched by the raw vulnerability and authenticity already. No, I'm not 4x Mr. Olympia or a beast of a podcaster, but the whole of the human experience certainly lends to more similarities than differences. Keep going, men! Love it!
I have now watched this twice back to back... This is the best podcast I have EVER seen. It has so much wisdom, balance, careful delivery, a journey and it was so interesting throughout the entire thing.
Chris Williamson just may be the best interviewer, I've ever listened to. His questions are so good. Never uses boring 'filler' questions. A valuable podcast.
The set is so beautiful it makes watching this very, very incredible to watch. Not only is the conversation great, but it feels as though the space is respecting the caliber of those talking here. Very cool.
Finally able to finish this in its entirety. Very enjoyable episode and solidifies me as a Cbum fan. Dude is very self aware and humble. Strong role model for our younger folks.
This should be your highest viewed podcast! Love Chris and his honesty, to be one of the biggest names in bodybuilding but to be so authentic and open up is inspirational ❤
After going through a fitness journey myself this podcast really summed up my past three years. Especially about mindset and enjoying the process of fatloss instead of being frustrated all the time. Great guest Chris, don't stop!
It's beautiful how honest and open this conversation is. It's also wonderful proof that guys can talk about their feelings in a way that doesn't at all make them seem less masculine
That contented confidence you get before a big MW episode, knowing youre in for an epic couple of hours conversation is just 👌 Chris is such a competent host you just know its going to be so slick. Awesome episode. 🚀
I’ve been wanting to see a long form interview with C-Bum for a few years now. Great to see it finally come to fruition with such an expert interviewer.
Chris B is a lot more articulate and interesting than I was expecting (a lot of bodybuilders can be quite one dimensional). Hats off to Chris and Chris for such a great conversation as always.
This episode is hands down the best podcast episode I've ever seen. Every bit of it and every word resonated with me. I really needed this, and I feel proud to share the beliefs of what was shared in this episode. Thank you CW for being the host you are. Your skill of interviewing is profound. You nailed the questions and created a great dynamic between the two of you. I loved that you shared your own side, and the script was flipped by CB asking you questions as well. It felt like a natural and healthy conversation. CB's wisdom puts me in awe. I'm very similar to him in being introverted, sensitive, emotional. I struggled with that growing up feeling weak compared to society's toxic ideal of what a man "should" be and learning to embrace/accept myself and who I am in my nature. Him embracing it and his internal journey looks a lot like mine (Him having come a lot further), and I hope to be where he is at with himself in the future. Truly thank you for this episode. It made me love myself and the path I'm on that much more, and gave me a lot of pointers towards where/what I want to be as a man and individual.
Really interesting talk, all of it, but especially the section about not wanting to ask for help because you wouldn’t want to be a burden, that hit home… My admiration for Chris B grows every time I hear him talk so openly… Thank you for content Mr Williamson… 🙌🏻
When i first bought it, I didnt care for it much. It sat around unused for a year. Then when I was about to donate it, I gave it another try and now I love it. I try not to keep heavy dumbells around so the kids don’t accidently hurt themselves

I got the chance to meet Chris in person at a supplement store appearance in Canada. He is as nice and kind in person as you see on the camera, just an over all amazing and down to earth guy. A champion through and through. Thanks Modern Wisdom for this gem! This one is gonna go crazy!
I clicked on the video purely for Cbum. But I admit I love the style of your interviews. I haven’t seen a podcast that was so professionally laid out; from the tablet full of questions to the smooth topic transitions. Great episode!
Brother, this was a truly inspiring podcast. As a fellow seeker of truth who has been listening to you for some time now and a gym rat who has been following Mr.O on his journey, listening to this was like Christmas morning. You two are what this world needs, what young men need. We need more role models like you two. We need more conversations like this. Keep it up, you don’t know the impact you are having 🙌🏼 “I’ve spent all this time climbing up a ladder, only to realize it was against the wrong wall” pure gold.
If you're a young man, watch this. Empathy towards yourself and who you are is the most important thing in this day and age. Thanks for the great podcast. 👊
Chris bumstead is a legend, a role model and just a genuine person. A man who is able to separate himself from what he does and recognize that there is value beyond his purpose. As an athlete myself, seeing someone as well spoken and introspective as Chris is glorious, breaking the stigma and stereotypes of bodybuilders and powerlifters alike. I wish him much ongoing success and thank you Chris for bringing such a phenomenal top production quality podcast to YT, your interviewing skills are second to none. Cheers
Wish I could like this twice. Severely needed to hear the content in this one. Love ya Chris. You're one of my favorite content creators. Appreciate you man. 🙏
The first half hour is the REALEST I wish everyone in the world was. Vulnerable but STRONG. Know you can get thru things. Know to rise above and know things get better. It’s ok to not be ok. ITS NOT OK to not communicate, it’s NOT OK to dwell and sit alone. There’s no need to. We’re all in this together.
This podcast is on a whole new level. Thank you Chris for elevating us and the podcast game ! Love it, so grateful to be confortable and watch this. Just came back from Jiu Jitsu sparring, just chilling with some nice content
Quarter way through this podcast and this is an epic podcast. Loaded with knowledge, experience and level headed expectations. Self Empathy, continuous & iterative improvement, positive outwards to life and so much more. Loving it 🎉
Amazing Watch! True Modern Wisdom right here. The Aura Chris displays is like no other. You can tell he Reflects A LOT about everything, on all levels. It is very...very inspiring. His experience combined with his knowledge is the epitome of Wisdom.
This is more of a Christopher Nolan movie than just a podcast. Spectacular job with the set, the lighting, and just the overall productional value of the episode
You just earned a subscriber Chris. What a remarkable conversation with my favorite bodybuilder Cbum💪🏻. I really like how you guys both share your stories as well. That’s something that people do not do. Thank you for sharing.
Chris I love your use of parables and quotes throughout your shows. one of my favorite parables is the parable of the chinese farmer. I would love to hear your take on this in one of your shows and I think its one you would enjoy. keep up the great work!
I absolutely loved the end of this, talking about parenthood. Hearing how in the future it may be like "my father was incredible he taught me so much" (because the father had access to unlimited affordable information from great thinkers) and how thats such a stark contrast to previous generations. It really does give you hope for a great productive future. We live in some incredible times in terms of information. That was such an interesting thought, It was so nice to hear also. Im going to quote that section to some family members to pass on the good word. Fantastic episode.
Such a powerful episode, just him talking about how it's ok for a man to admit he needs help and comfort, that hit me where it needs too. One of my biggest fears as a father with a young son is that he will grow up not knowing how to handle his emotions. I'm just learning now in my mid 30s how to properly handle things like anxiety, anger, depression, ect and my worst fear is my son going through that same struggle. So for someone at the level of Chris Bumstead who is a picture of super alpha masculinity, hearing him talking about emotions like that is really amazing.
I resonate some ideals with Chris, especially the feeling that "since I am a man, I am not allowed to have emotions". I struggle with this ideology everyday and have had friendships ruined because I lost respect for them when I saw them cry, I am getting better and becoming more zen with these feelings, and it was really eye opening to hear chris speak on this. Thank you
Thank you both for putting such great content again. Always great to see the success and the growth through incredible journeys. Bringing some light and positiveness and showing you can retake control of your path to greatness. Loved the depth of this whole conversation. Thanks guys.

It's beautiful how honest and open this conversation is. It's also wonderful proof that guys can talk about their feelings in a way that doesn't at all make them seem less masculine
That contented confidence you get before a big MW episode, knowing youre in for an epic couple of hours conversation is just 👌
Chris is such a competent host you just know its going to be so slick. Awesome episode. 🚀
Chris, I listen to your podcasts at work and at home. When I am home, I workout and listen. Love you dude.
I’ve been wanting to see a long form interview with C-Bum for a few years now. Great to see it finally come to fruition with such an expert interviewer.
Hes done plenty of long form interviews, what were you waiting for? lol
@@lexthomas6724 guess they just never made it to my algorithm. I wasn’t aware of any previous to this one.
I always love your small nuggets and passages you pull out Chris. Never stop.... the nuggets.
Really interesting talk, all of it, but especially the section about not wanting to ask for help because you wouldn’t want to be a burden, that hit home… My admiration for Chris B grows every time I hear him talk so openly… Thank you for content Mr Williamson… 🙌🏻
thank you for uploading this Chris, you and your team are the GOATs for sharing so much free content with these great guests 🙏🙏🙏
One of the most stunning physiques ever attained on planet earth. Dude is a statue.
But he's humble and authetic. Love it.
believe me - so many things you were talking about i could map and identify my own problems with. I cried. thank you chris & chris
When i first bought it, I didnt care for it much. It sat around unused for a year. Then when I was about to donate it, I gave it another try and now I love it. I try not to keep heavy dumbells around so the kids don’t accidently hurt themselves
Already listened on Spotify but watching again on RUclips. This production quality is on another level.
Chris is such a chill dude. Seems like a very ordinary man personality wise and super humble yet clearly an amazing talent with immense drive.

Thanks both of you guys, this Podcast really helped me!
I got the chance to meet Chris in person at a supplement store appearance in Canada. He is as nice and kind in person as you see on the camera, just an over all amazing and down to earth guy. A champion through and through. Thanks Modern Wisdom for this gem! This one is gonna go crazy!
1:28:15 Such a powerful statement that seems to be overlooked by many people. Being yourself is hard, but being somebody else is impossible.
I clicked on the video purely for Cbum. But I admit I love the style of your interviews. I haven’t seen a podcast that was so professionally laid out; from the tablet full of questions to the smooth topic transitions. Great episode!
The more I listen to Chris speak, the more I respect him. Introspection is undervalued, he brings it to the table. Shout out to my Ottawa homeboy!!
Two of my favorite people to watch and listen to.
It's so satisfying having this video be in this format. It fits my ultrawide monitor perfectly.
Keep it up, you don’t know the impact you are having 🙌🏼
“I’ve spent all this time climbing up a ladder, only to realize it was against the wrong wall” pure gold.
I never knew CBum was so cool. I really resonated with their discussion about being genuine and questioning how introverted we really are.
If you're a young man, watch this.
Empathy towards yourself and who you are is the most important thing in this day and age.
Thanks for the great podcast. 👊
wow , just wow . The champion mentality is not winning but having no quit. Loved it . Brilliant .
I’m only 1 minute into the interview and I’m blown away with the direction it’s heading. Brilliant 👏🏻🥇🏆
Cheers
in a time where the attention span is less than 30 seconds, sitting down and watching this podcast has been a bless! loved every second of it!
The cinematography alone deserves a sub ❤
what a positive comment section, kudos for building this awesome community
What an awesome conversation between two mature men! Wish it got more circulation. Real role model
With cbum on here it’ll get pretty good numbers
Truly one of the best interviews I've watched, will be sharing far and wide!
Absolutely one of the best and most mind inspriring podcasts iv ever listened to.
So many gems in this pod/conversation! ❤
Wish I could like this twice. Severely needed to hear the content in this one. Love ya Chris. You're one of my favorite content creators. Appreciate you man. 🙏
The quality is insane! Above and beyond other podcasters. Keep up the work we all love you.
Ive dreamed of this collaboration for months. Today is a very happy day. A peek into the champion.
Usually I listen to you & your guests' wisdom but I had to watch this one. So far, captivating. 💟
He's passing on true modern stoicism and its amazing. True philosopher in practice.
This podcast is on a whole new level. Thank you Chris for elevating us and the podcast game ! Love it, so grateful to be confortable and watch this. Just came back from Jiu Jitsu sparring, just chilling with some nice content
One of the best podcast interviews of all time. So many good nuggest! Thanks guys!
Quarter way through this podcast and this is an epic podcast.
Loaded with knowledge, experience and level headed expectations.
Self Empathy, continuous & iterative improvement, positive outwards to life and so much more.
Loving it 🎉
The quality of this podcast is crazyy
This discussion is amazing, fair play to you both. Authenticity is so refreshing and it really resonates with people. Keep up the great work.
Amazing Watch! True Modern Wisdom right here.
The Aura Chris displays is like no other. You can tell he Reflects A LOT about everything, on all levels. It is very...very inspiring. His experience combined with his knowledge is the epitome of Wisdom.
At about 30mins in you relax and have probably your best interview yet, amazing work!
This is by far the most nailed episode i mean the quality the value the guest and everything about it is great, i enjoyed it keep it up Chris !
The Chris + Chris duo we needed 💪🏽
Probably the best podcast channel in terms of camera shoot, light mastering, angles .....feels like a movie scene.
This is one of the greatest conversation I’ve heard in my life.
I've been so hyped for this!
Congratulations on getting to 1 million. Your story, your grit, and determination to get to where you are now is a huge inspiration to me.
Literally one of the best episodes. Also visually loved the camera, grading and even slider work.
This is more of a Christopher Nolan movie than just a podcast. Spectacular job with the set, the lighting, and just the overall productional value of the episode
I learned how to deadlift from Chris' Muscle&Fitness video, six years ago. It's insane to see his transformation, proud of you kid!
Thank you both for this conversation
One of my favorite YT channel.. chris so smart intelligent but easy going and humble to speak.. very wise .. always on point.
Been waiting for this podcast for a while. Loved the clips you posted. Keep up the good work Chris.
Holy, the beginning sent shivers down my spine.
this is my fav podcast in this wild universe! Chris Bumstead, you are pure bliss in this world! Deep mind and strong body, nothing can beat that!
