    Why is the sharklet of the 747 so freaking close? You could touch it.

    HIGH FIVE!! My very deepest Compliments for invited me onboard this DL A330 ATL - EZE flight. I love it to fly with Airbus jetliners. And particulary on long-haul flights the Airbus A330 is a pretty comfy and gorgeous plane too.

    Atlanta has a very nice international terminal, was lucky enough to pass through it in 2013 going to London!

    Last time I flew on Delta Air Lines’ L1011.nonstop from ATL to LAX in June 1993. As for the Boeing 747, I flew on United Airlines nonstop from Chicago/ORD to Honolulu/HNL with my mom and sister for 9 hours of flying and oh boy, it was a real LONG duration. All seats were sold out in all classes even the First Class on the Upper Deck (or upstairs). They spent in Honolulu for two weeks and they loved it so much. Oh, we flew in July 1988 and that was why all seats were sold out because of a high peak season in Hawaii anyway.

    Hey got a question for you, I am planning a trip to Buenos Aires and this is the flight I would take. I am a very nervous flyer and was wondering if this flight is usually turbulent? I know it varies due to all sorts of scenarios, but some flights seem to have consistent turbulence, Las Vegas for instance. Thanks.

    • @SDMullis
      @SDMullis  9 лет назад +5

      +knoxedout knoxville Hey buddy. I honestly do not remember any turbulence at all and I was surprised. It was one of the smoother international flights I have ever had. Perhaps I was just lucky. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Enjoy Argentina.

  • @limavictor8570
    @limavictor8570 9 лет назад

    Very good video, great job!
    That this is the service from Atlanta to Buenos Aires Ezeiza?
    It's strange that they did not use the terminal C "Mercedes Sosa" of Ezeiza which is the terminal of Aerolineas Argentinas and SkyTeam members, since during the morning Aerolineas does not use the terminal for international flights, only for regional and domestic flghts as the flights to Europe and USA arrive sooner and release these positions for SkyTeam airlines.

    • @Jonatika4ever10
      @Jonatika4ever10 9 лет назад

      +LimaVictor85 Terminal C is just for SkyTeam departures. ALL international arrivals get to terminal A. I have just read in wikipedia, and besides, off all the times I've travelled, I've always arrived in terminal A.

    • @limavictor8570
      @limavictor8570 9 лет назад

      Lourdes Jonas You are right but I ask you a small correction. The terminal C that is the SkyTeam flights arrivals if receive passengers. The passangers have to pass through the terminal B until you reach the terminal A to make migration where and then withdrawing their baggage in the belts. Subsequent to that make customs and end up coming out of the terminal A where is the "meeting point". Both the terminalas A, B and C are used for arrivals and departures. The difference is that the terminal B at the moment does not have posts of checkin and the same must be done both by the terminal A to as the C depending on if the airline is a member of the SkyTeam or not. The finished work of the new terminal B should have been completed in 2014 but is paralyzed at the moment and is expected to be completed in 2016. For the time being the terminal A is where they leave all passengers on flights arrivals and where is the "meeting point". Passengers who have connections to domestic flights have to go or whether to walk to the terminal C that is the Aerolineas Argentinas-Austral Lineas Aereas terminal to take such flights.
      Greetings!
      Sorry for my poor english! :P

      Lourdes Jonas Somos dos que lo pudimos haber dicho en castellamo jaja.
      La cosa es que como te decia es cierto lo que dices que los arribos son por la terminal A pero la salida de los pasajeros donde se encuentran con sus familiares, los arribos y partidas se hacen por las tres terminales y la unica que no tiene de momento el espigon hecho con los mostradores de checkin, etc es la B. Supongo que en un futuro cuando terminen las obras de la B haran un nuevo meeting point como el de la terminal A, vaya uno a saber!
      Saludos!

    Any idea where the 744 was headed?

    • @SDMullis
      @SDMullis  11 лет назад

      I think it had just arrived from Tokyo Narita. I would assume it is turning around and going back. I think that is the only destination that DELTA serves from ATL using a 744.

    • @Ahuntsicspotter
      @Ahuntsicspotter 10 лет назад

      SDMullis DL 744s are deployed from ATL to NRT, HNL and TLV.

      Félix Maltchinski
      The only route Delta serves on a 744 from ATL is NRT. Delta does fly 744s to TLV, but only out of JFK. ATLHNL is run with a 333.

    • @BobWeaver112
      @BobWeaver112 10 лет назад

      SDMullis
      Correct, but the arriving aircraft does not turn around and go back to NRT until the next day. ATLNRT departs before NRTATL arrives.

      tanpeke The international Airport in Buenos Aires is Ministro Pistariani (EZE), Domestic Airport (also for some Mercorsur flights) is Jorge Newbery (AEP). Flights from USA landing in EZE.

    • @wyarthrottle
      @wyarthrottle 9 лет назад

      EZE is not in the city (federal capital) of Buenos Aires, but still is the Buenos Aires province, so it is quite accurate to call it Buenos Aires.

    • @AleGluck90
      @AleGluck90 9 лет назад

      Raymundo Nava(FEDERAL CAPITAL) dosn't exist. you mean (Autonomous City of Buenos Aires). But EZE is Ezeiza is the capital city of the Ezeiza Partido.So isn't Buenos aires.In that way "villa Gesell" is in "buenos aires" just cuz it's in BA province.

    Illiterate gate agent, socialist aircraft, aged aisle donkey doing nothing at the boarding door; that pretty much sums up Delta. That ex-Northwest Orient B744-451 was truly the highlight of the video, however.
