Please lower the taxes! I read they were being increased by 2.37% This is no way to get more businesses/people to come to Oshawa. My house is almost $600,000 and the property tax is probably over $6000. I'm moving to Bowmanville if this increase goes through. Back when the average house price in Oshawa was probably just over $200,000, sure 1.561 made sense but now the average has gone WAY UP! You should modify the property tax to reflect that.
