Port Perry is a community located in Scugog, Ontario, Canada. The town is located 84 km northeast of central Toronto and 24 km north of Oshawa. Due to its location in the Greater Toronto Area, many residents commute to Toronto for work. The area around Port Perry was first surveyed as part of Reach Township by Major S. Wilmot in 1809. The first settler in the area was Reuben Crandell, a United Empire Loyalist who built a homestead with his wife in May 1821.

I rode my mountain bike from Port Perry to Hamilton took 2.1/2 days.....the town folks are very nice...cute place, lovely lake Scugog.....stunning board walk
