She also could’ve used Halphas in this form but used sitri which is close combat. We seen how much stronger Halphas is and how fast that form is. If elfman was able to take Seilah down in one hit then why couldnt Mira do it?? Plot
It was set up so well for Mira - being implanted with more demon particles, saying she replenished her demon factor, etc etc. Sad that the fight developed terribly.
They did dirty to mirajane in the whole animation!!! She's much stronget than erza tbh!! I hope they release next season and showcase mira's true power.
This fight actually doesn't seem convincing to me at all. Mira looks so weak in this episode. What was in Hiro's mind when making this episode????? Mira is supposed to be stronger than flying books.... What is so special about flying books? How could books even possibly deal damage to Mira????? That was so hilarious and didn't make sense at all when I was watching this at the time. But I am glad that Hiro actually ended the anime with Mira looking so strong :D

I guess Hiro was too lazy to draw fight scenes for Mira since her fights are so big and large-scale. And, I think, if that's the case, that it would have been much more beneficial for both Hiro and viewers if he let Mira overtake Seilah even before fighting since Hiro can save time while viewers can understand the true immensity of Mira's magic power.
@@natalienedelcu139 no Seliah is extremely strong I mean she is a member of the Tartarus guild however If Mirajane used her Halphas form then Mirajane would have destroyed Seliah easily. I think the reason why they made it like that is because it shows the guild overcoming their obstacles. After all fairytail isn’t like other anime’s it’s about family and the bonds that you make and overcoming hardships. It’s more of a slice of life anime than most slice of life anime’s out there.

Mira is very strong but let's face it, she's secondary character and Hiro doesn't really like her as much as Erza. But she is my favorite character ! But it seems that Fairytail is based on LUCYs point of view...or her story as a wizard...others were just additional events...
Imagine if she actually leaves the town then joins a dark guild, and the dark guild that she was in gets defeated while battling fairy tail, and she later joins fairy tail :O

@Roman99 Neo Not really. Remember, Elfman said Halphas is a Demon Goddess, not a Satan Soul. Sitri is a Satan Soul, so they're 2 different forms of demon takeovers. I believe Sitri has more raw strength while Halphas has more destructive magic power & range, since Elfman said Makarov banned her from using it after destroying an entire city with it.
The way Mira's Satan Soul was portrayed here was AWFULLL. She got so many nerfs. To start with, back in her fight against Freed, she was able to send him flying down at least 60 feet into the bridge and completely smash it with one punch. Yet here she can't break through a bunch of books? She was also so fast she covered the distance of at least a mile in a literal 2 seconds (when Freed flew away from the bridge, and Mira appeared behind him, seemingly "teleporting" because of her speed), but she was running like a slowpoke at the start here and took an hour to reach Seilah? ANOTHER nerf was her durability. Against Freed she was able to take the full brunt force of his Darkness Breath and Darkness Flashbomb, and be smashed into a river, with absolutely no damage. She was also able to take on a multitude of powerful attacks from Azuma back in Tenrou Island with little-to-no damage. Yet here she gets hurt by books? BOOKS? Then there's the matter of how the fight was handled overall. So embarrassing. Mira was using only physical strength when she damn well could have shot a variety of her destructive spells. What happened to Evil Explosion? Evil Shower? Darkness Stream? Dark Deflect for the books? If you bring the excuse that it would collapse the room, that would have been to Mira's advantage; destroying the lab and possibly harming Seilah. If you bring the excuse that Lisanna would be caught in it is another horrible reason, because if Lisanna can't escape a single room collapsing with her magic then she isn't worth much.
That's what happens when you're just a supporting character. I stopped watching fairytail after this episode. :/ I feel bad for Mira. The writer doesn't like her that much. He only uses her for fan service. Yuck!
@Roman99 Neo Kyoka curse actually increases her strength every minute or second a battle is ongoing- so that means that her strength can might as well be unlimited compared to the others but Seilah is second strongest in the villains group.
they really cut out all the best parts. while i do appreciate most of the flash back still being included, they really cut out mirajanes driving factor at the climax of the fight when she was using her powers on seila, which included "i wasnt trying to do a takeover on you, for a brief moment i tried taking over your power so i could make a command, "Elfman, come to your family.""

She has her Universe One spell, which rearranged the entire Fiore continent. And, Irene summoned a meteor from space with Deus Sema. 3. August can copy any kinda magic or power, as long as its not used through an item, like Lucy's Celestial keys or Cana's Card magic. And, he's got the move, Ars Magia, which drains the blood from someone, as he began doing to everybody in Magnolia. Does any of that sound like they can handle Naruto?
