Hiro Mashina is an ass and also does not put any thought into his world building. He also said that Mira actually DOES Have multiple demon forms, including Dukes and Princes. He also said that if they went all out that she was technically more powerful than Erza. There was a reason why she was feared throughout Fiore during her prime and why Fairy Tail sucks at Story Telling because Allegria boasts as her most powerful form because it is the combination of every demon in Tartarus including the 9 demons of Zeref as well as their demon ship. It was shown that she can boil and evaporate an entire sea,and yet that form is used on 2 background characters that she could have beaten using Sitri. Reminders that Sitri, prior to Allegria, was her most powerful form. I actually entertain the thought that Hiro hated FT with a burning passion. Because there are so many worlds in FT like the celestial spirit world and the one where Mystogan is from. You also have all that History and unknown Magic. Yakuma's 18 battle gods magic, where Minerva commands one of them, and a powerful magic by Even Mazis' standards. Like FT had so much Area and Lore to cover cuz we haven't even seen all the countries in Earthland. The 100-year quest supposed sequel is also a bit trash and you can see how much He writes himself into a corner.
Nope. Since she's a side character, the author will always find a reason for her to not finish a fight properly. Her fight with both Azuma and Irene had to be finished by Erza. Her fight with Seilah, whom she should have had easily won over had to be finished by Elfman.
Mirajane is too iconic. The concept of their transformations was best leveraged by Black Clover. Mashima has created super good and original characters, but he has never known how to handle them in the story. Sometimes I imagine how she would be in the world of Black Clover, Asta Noelle and Yuno's transformations are so similar to hers. 🥺😫

Mira is very powerful but it seems like her take over magic burns through her magic power extremely fast. All of her fights are quick going one way or the other. Either she destroys her opponent quickly or she runs out of magic power and gets smacked. She struggles against anyone that can withstand her initial onslaught. I wish she had some more development with her powers and learn to fight for longer.
She lacks a lot of stamina, like how Ezra, Grey, Natsu, Lucy etc can use a lot of magic in a fight and keep going-Mira uses one form and she’s out for the count, she severely lacks stamina and a lot of it-which is exactly what she should’ve worked on during that 1 year Fairy Tail was disbanded

While I love Mira. I feel like she is a plot device - at least when she fights. All her fights are the same, she gets PISSED, immediately transforms and trashes her enemy. And every time the enemy can withstand her base Satan Soul, she just says she has an EVEN STRONGER one and turns into that before thrashing the enemy with even MORE AMAZING powers. Her power development is non-existent and that’s because she only exists in fights to give us something to woo at. Also she lack stamina and endurance. If she’s unable to take down her enemy during her initial blitzes, she’ll de transform and get wrecked. Even when she does win she almost always de-transforms and collapses.
Such is the fate of cool side characters, unfortunately, as they tend to steal the limelight from the main characters, because for some reason, they seem to be more well written and more interesting than the main characters. Mystogan suffered the same fate, hailed as one of the top mages of FT, very mysterious and interesting, but we never really got to see him fight.😮💨

I asked another user if there are any scene in what episode that she's absorb Seilah but I got the answer that it was an offscene. So, there wasn't any scene in any episode show She absorbed Seilah. on other topic: they never ceased to amaze me when it come to Fairy Tail. I love the fan service they delivered. pretty much only fairy tail that have fan service with more than 100 episodes. no fan service anime out there that have more 100 episodes. Seilah is so pretty.
True I absolutely love fairy tail but I think we could have saw power progression with the more characters like Mirajane, Lucy, Juvia Gajeel considering out long the story was. The only ones that live up to their potential are Natsu Erza Gray and Gildarts.

Its a pity that the author made a lot of improvement in Lucy's fighting skill,while mirajane with a demonic aura and transformations,used to be an equal footing and extra level like Erza ended up and look like a weakling fairy,she used to be expert in close combat skill plus i want to see her more because of her unusual whole body transformations... she is so underrated😢

Mirajane has the raw power. But she doesn't have the stamina or the durability that makes erza last any fight. Her powers drain her easily....
But that power can possibly shatter her armors.
