if you don't have a essence tab you can upgrade essences by selling 3 of the same to a vendor. Thats called the "3 to 1 recipe" and works not only for essences but also for oils and maps.
I did the level down trick to get an ilvl2 wand, used flat lightning to spells essence until it had +1 lightning gems, then crafted spell damage. Easy end game wand for SSF thanks to essences
This is great dude! I am a new sub, and I am trying to understand the scale of this game and all its facets, trying to not rely too heavily on the market. To me, just buying everything after days of grinding feels a bit unsatisfying, whereas crafting stuff myself or finding the good stuff myself feels way better. Thank you again!
I really love messing around with Fractured items + Essence Spam to get 3 good roles/mods [Fracture + Essence + 1 targeted mod you spam for] on an item. Throw in the crafting bench and there's a good chance to get 4-5 useful mods on an item without breaking the bank ... Super powerful in early & mid-game.
Great tutorial! I am an experienced player with essences but as for the Craft of Exile website im pretty much a noob. I need to start playing around with that instead of dabbling out my curiosity with currency first haha.
I had no idea that some essences can be used on existing rares to reroll them with a guaranteed value. I thought they were only useful for white items. this changes things.
Would it be possible for a guide that showed the different ways of crafting different amount of mods onto an item. Example: To craft 1 desired mod the following ways are available: Essence, Crafting Bench, etc To craft 2 desired mods the following ways are available… To craft 3 desired mobs… etc ?
Honestly someone told me to do essences cause it's easy and you can just simply craft profit - but I'm having a ton of trouble understanding crafting cause of it's endless possibilities and lack of understanding what's profitable as a new player. Not to mention I'm F2P so I don't have a premium stash tab to sell these things. Should I swap my atlas around to avoid essences? They also do not provide a lot of the stats I am needing for my Lacerate build unless I am missing something.

How to craft in poe. Realise you're playing a overly complicated slot machine instead of crafting.
chaos spam everything until it’s gg tier = the slot machine final boss
spam divine until perfect roll
watched many craft guides from different creators but only now ess-craft started to make sence. thank you! will use it in my 3.22 crawl)

Modifying items in PoE involves a degree of randomness, and there's no guarantee that you'll get the exact modifiers you want...

Heh I think I know what I'm doing crafting I got a 4 link on my gloves. Easiest game of my life.
