moments i want to keep

Throughout 2022 and 2023, I was documenting so many moments of life just by pulling my phone out and pressing record. It was a simple act, and it was for no one but me, my friends and family, and maybe my future babies. The act of just snatching moments before they've dissipated is important to me. The past 2 years held some of my absolute favorite moments - traveling the world with my husband, shooting and creating films I'm really proud of, nurturing my friendships, being an aunt, building a stronger community with people around me. It also held some extremely difficult moments that were very much lessons that needed to be learned. I've grown a lot. I feel like I'm really coming into who I am supposed to be, but as I write this I'm thinking... I'll always be becoming that person. It's what life is all about - sanctification and growth and relationship.
Anywho... I wanted these moments to live somewhere outside of my camera roll. I know they aren't all planned and framed up perfectly with a nice camera. But, they mean a lot to me. Maybe creating doesn't have to be about more than that.
More of these little compilations will come, I'm sure.
Thank you for being here. You are loved and valued beyond measure. I hope you leave each of my videos with a little more peace and a little more hope than you had when you arrived.
