Did you enjoy the good old British weather? Sounds good news Chris. Are they still retaining passports for the entire application process? Makes life tricky for visiting Spain and buying a house. Seems other things here can take longer than expected - ACRO are suggesting that they are likely to miss their 30 day targets and telling applicants not to bug them with calls.
Edinburgh and London retain passports, one option for buying house would be to do the discovery trip before hand and leave a POA in place for a representative to complete the transaction on your behalf. Acros now last for 6 months albeit they are taking a while to come through this makes the process easier to manage
@@Upsticks Thanks Chris, yeah, a buying trip before application and POA is the plan. Shame the 90/180 is effectively removed at a time when possibly the most important purchase of a person's life is under way. It is strange how it seems every UK government department i am dealing with seems to give the message as you first deal with them that they are busy and running late. It almost seems the standard now. Still, we'll get there - with Upsticks help of course. 👍
Hi Chris, was wondering if you had an update on getting an appointment at the London office for NLV application. Have been trying email directly, the phone number you kindly gave out (ending 485) which goes straight to voicemail leave message and also their website which is not accepting my login anymore and/or has a weird keyboard when you are trying to input your password to login. Do you know if it's still down. Am at my wits end trying for over a week in every way possible. Can you help please? Emma
