Excellent! Adding that if you are coming from west on the A-7/MA-20, then it's a bit easier since you are coming into the last roundabout at the airport just like the dark car at 3:06 (as long as you've followed the Aeropuerto signs 2km down the road) :)

On producing my TIE card with my passport when travelling in and out of Spain my passport isn’t stamped, therefore how can I prove my length of stay? Like a lot of people my 5 years in Spain for permanent residency is later this year.

We love Shaun... was he talking about us? (I was in touch with him about drones etc.). We have a RUclips channel and were supposed to retire 2024, but have been tempted back to work as campsite wardens for one more season... and to be honest, we need the extra money before we retire to Quesada properly on a single UK Govt pension only with no private pensions, but we are both plastic paddies, so the residency process is easier for us.

I'm sure you have a tame lawyer who guides you. I'd really appreciate their insight into how the Spanish government has reintroduced exactly the same rule that the Supreme Court has said was unlawful. The SC ruled that the offending article (Article 162 - 2.e of RD 557/2011) was contrary to the organic law (Article 5.1 and 31 of LO 4/2000). (As an aside, this was nothing to do with the EU). The SC stated that if the government wanted such a rule, it must first introduce a parliamentary bill to amend the organic law. Yet it appears that the government, in introducing its latest secondary legislation (RD 1155/2024), has ignored the SC and reintroduced exactly the same rule. How?

Hi Chris loved this podcast. How did they manage with getting their passports stamped in France/Spain?

We have been trying to get an appointment to apply in Manchester from 6th December with no appointments available or showing on the system in the near future. It’s so frustrating as some of the documents are time sensitive.
