To be fair it's probably a good learning experience for the child as they learn how to survive on nothing, they learn how cruel the world is to adults and well yea being in this situation will very likely create a hunger/drive/motivation to make something out of their life's and become rich as hell when they get older no matter what
I ain’t broke but i feel pretty alone with my son in my current situation. I definitely feel like I have that stressed look he has in his face. That “sure man, why not” when his son asks “should I go?” This movie hits a lot different then when I saw it as a teenager
@@Ratchet299 yea good for them to learn young so that when they become an adult and things go to shit it won't effect them as much as someone who's been wrapped in cotton wall their whole childhood just to then one day before thrown face first in to horses shit
Wayne is the absolute worst "friend" a person could have. He knew how bad Chris was struggling. He also knew that $14 meant way more to Chris than it did to him. How can someone actually look themselves in the mirror when they burn their friends in need like that? Shameful.
A main thing is he could have had a heart to heart talk with Rob and it would have been fine. The fact the guy waited this long to kick them out means he was a caring person, but Chris in the movie just avoided him and jerked him around instead of telling him straight.
Well I know of one guy who kept his cash out of the bank and guess what...it got stolen from him. A huge some except the thief was kind enough to leave only $15
I hope that Wade falls in hard times and begs Chris for help after he became a millionaire So he can say I thought I didn't owe you that now I didn't get my 14 you ain't getting nothing from me
Bro got a whole 21 dollers and here I am -237.53 in my bank account and I'm still in the middle of paying of a lone witch I got another 1483 before interest left to pay off Bro saying his broke and got it hard like screw this man I wish I had a whole 21 dollers to my name because I ain't got shit and owe money to god knows how many people for stupid reasons that will likely take a miracle for me to get out off
Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
"Bring back my Time Machine!" Always gets me. 😄
What was that? Did he steal it?
@@AmirKhan-yv8jmYeah, the guy did, not Chris (Will Smith)
It's one thing to be all by yourself in this situation, but to have a child too wow😔

Exactly though, he probably would've reached his success faster if he let his wife take his son, but hey he still did it.

Wayne is a bad friend, Chris needed those $14 every dollar counts
what he going to buy with 14 dollars
@@ShadowDeist When you have nothing, it feels like a lot
Even before this scene, Chris kept reminding him of it even before they moved. He was definitely a bad friend!
$14 is like $40 in 2024 since Pursuit Of happyness took place in 1981.

"No warning, nothing". False. If the IRS puts a levy on your financial assets, it means they have been trying to contact you for literally years.
It's a movie bro. Don't take it too seriously.

I always like that doctor character. He can see Chris is troubled and wants to buy the machine to help him.

The 25th of September that's Will Smith's birthday 0:48 0:49 🎂💯🔥
Shout-out to them Libras. My mom a October Libra
Sad thing is this cycle of being broke is endless will stand the test of time
That hippie life must've been pretty sad to want to go back so badly
Uncle Sam can be extremely cruel sometimes.
Someone that poor wouldn't even be paying taxes. This is a made up story.

If I was Chris’ friend I would’ve allowed him and his son to stay with me until they got back on their feet!
Lol thats why make friends in a way they let you stay for a month or so
Will almost made me believe this was him first time I was watching this I was feeling bad I hate seeing families in real life go thru this
Time gets tough, women leave, saw it happening to my brother too, except she didnt just leave she filed false allegations on us too.

Real life Chris actually cheated on his wife 😂
And men always stick around right?
Man I’ve been there with only a few dollars left

Wayne being selfish af for 2 minutes bro really didn't know how Chris is going through a lot, does he even know what's it like to be homeless?
Jaden was so cute..pitty he does not know how to respect his dad
The Genie & Oscar needs his money.
14$ then is equivalent to 20 thousand in todays money

For an upcoming expert in finance, Chris was a dumbass - why not withdraw every penny from the bank in this situation
That was essentially common sense.
