Robot Hospital Couriers At UCSF Medical Center | CNBC
I saw one of these while I was a patient at UCSF this past week. I wish I could have gotten my iPhone out fast enough to videotape it. Very cool how it maneuvered around quite a few obstacles.
I went on an elevator at my local Hospital I work at recently with one of these TUG robots. (While recording on my iPhone, riding up with it from the Lower Level to the Main floor.) it was really cool how it interacts with elevators, doorways, obstacles, and etc. via Wi-Fi!
Several years ago my company sent me there to help nurses with the software we developed. those robots are definitely awesome! they can even take elevators by themselves.
