He’s one of my favorite artists by far. The majority of his songs are actually about heartbreak and loss. This is one of the rare ones he has about falling in love, and it’s so beautiful. So glad you enjoyed it! My favorite is hard to pick, but I have to go with “The shape of a heart” because it’s so haunting, But you really can’t go wrong with any of his songs. You’ll love them all. ❤️

Only song Jackson co-wrote with long-time collaborator David Lindley (aka Mr Dave, the Prince of Polyester, the World's Greatest String Player). He wrote the guitar melodies and his unique guitar stylings come shining through.

I have seen Jackson Browne in concert 3 times, Once it was just him on the stage with about 20 different guitars. One of my all times favorites is called the "The Pretender". There are so many great songs, a couple of other songs are "Here comes those Tears Again" and " Rock Me on the Water". He is on my car ride set and always makes me happy.

My favorites are Sky blue and black, For a Dancer, Fountain of Sorrow, In a shape of a heart, Of missing persons, Late for the sky, Too many angels, The birds of St. Marks, Lives in the balance and so so many more.

Hi Saeed, yeah Jackson Browne had many songs.."Doctor, My Eyes" was a big top 40 hit here..top 40 meaning mainstream music...all his songs have deep meaning..my personal favorite is The Pretender..great storytelling, and as you listen to it, throughout the whole song he rhymes "pretender" with so many words and it all fits!! You will be amazed at how he did that. Can't wait to see your reaction to that one😊..this one makes you really think, doesn't it? All his songs do. There are so many songs and artists from this era, you could spend forever listening to them ❤. Thank you for checking so many of them out.

This is my favorite song, love listening to the lyrics. I think they are so unique. I always wanted someone to react to it, to see if they feel the same about it as I do. Couldn't wait to watch this video when it popped up. Your reaction was the same as mine when I heard it for the first time. Love your thoughtful reactions. If you don't know "The Pretender" it's a masterpiece. You will love dissecting those lyrics!

Jackson is one of the true greats. His career has spanned a half century and still continues. Incredible songwriter, a chronicler of matters of the heart, social justice and life in general. His catalogue is deep and profound. Explore it, you will be happily rewarded.

The whole album is telling the cycle of this relationship. He's looking for something casual and she -- the Hold Out - is needing something more. They split and find their way back together in the epic closer, Hold On Hold Out, which is one of my favorite JB songs. It builds from the quiet to this giddy conclusion, where he abandons some of his normal reserve to throw in some falsetto, some spoken word and finally saying "I love you" in a song for the first time.
