I really enjoyed this video. I started DJing when I was in the 7th grade back in 1977 in Long Island, NY. I wish we had simple things that are available today. I happy to see mobile DJs RUclips videos on sharing their tips and expertise. I have an apprentice that I'm teaching the 1 and 2s and will have him subscribe to your channel.
Oh my goodness DJ Rachel! I almost had a heart attack when you were testing out the unit. I said to myself, " This must be a DJ infomercial" lol. The unit is really cool and I appreciate everything you put into the review. Good to see you back in action. Appreciate the channel and content. #Salute
Wow. For me, this is your best video to date. It was so good that I watched it twice and rewound it in several places to make sure I didn't miss anything. What an awesome, portable, elegant and functional setup you now have! I really enjoyed the end showing you loading and unloading because I use a Ford Escape SUV for transport so I have about the same amount of room as you do. Can't wait to see you do an actual gig with this setup!
I really appreciate you checking this out and for such great feedback! I had such a good time making this video. The selling point for me was that I could lift it in my car and set it up with ease. I can't do heavy anymore. It's crazy how I could fit my entire setup in the car. No need to bring out the Silverado anymore!
This thing is pretty impressive .... And those features you showed at the end really demonstrate the thought that was put into this. Good work on the video!
Hey Dj Rachel, I love your videos. Always awesome presentation, everything looks good....and the console looks good too. Kudos! Just a reminder about the song at 7.30, that joker is banging.
Thanks so much! Surprisingly, the song at 7:30 is just a royalty free song in my editing app that I use on my phone. “Yellen Yellen- All day Instrumental.” That’s all it says.
Very subjective I know but for me your 'old' booth looks better. And thats without going into cost benefit discussion. Besides that you are the dj that I would hire for my party from all the djs I follow on YT. You totally get whats required!
I totally get this booth isn’t for everyone. The style is definitely not everyone’s cup of teas and that’s ok. This industry would be really boring if we all used and did things the same. 🙂 I personally think the time saved having everything prewired in the booth is worth every single dollar. It’s saved me tons of time and stress. Even if this style booth isn’t someone’s preferred look , I definitely think it’s still a good idea to consider the other console options out there. It really makes my job so much easier. 🙂👌🏻 I appreciate your time to stop by the channel. Thanks for the smile!
You are awesome Dj Rachel... great video. I don't know which to buy now, Command Center or the Infinity. I like the rackspace under the controller, for me, it means I can connect my driverack and leave everything connected for easy speaker connect, vs on the Command center, you have to connect and disconnect every time.
Nice review as usual. I personally don't like the looks of these stands / booths however it's basically a matter of personal taste. As long as your happy with it, it's all good. One love.
Hi Kelly! Thanks for stopping by to check this out. DJ Consoles and booths aren't for everyone and that's ok! There are plenty of options out there, and every DJ should find something that works for their style and workflow. If we all used the same stuff, our industry would get pretty boring! :) It's nice to see the different options out there. This is PERFECT for me, but may not be good for the next DJ...totally cool by me. Stay well!
Wow that’s a lot of setup without much work space (for me), I’m neat but not need enough for that very nice looking setup. The half drunk spilled drink on my controller is my biggest fear but it does look good. I’ll keep watching you to see what you think down the road. Thank you DJ Rachel

Thanks so much for checking out the video! I agree this is a significant investment for anyone but the time savings with setup and breakdown are worth the cost for me. I feel so much more independent and safe with this. I’m not worried about injuring myself at my old age. Not to mention the gas I’m going to save by not having to drive my Silverado anymore, unless it’s a super BIG event. My facade and flight case alone were almost $800. So looking at the cost versus what you’re getting, the piece was easy to swallow for me. Really looking forward to getting behind this soon!
Thanks for this video Rachel! Really great overview - I've been drooling over the Bunn Command Center but this definitely as perks! Would love to chat more about your setup.
I also liked the Bunn Center but it is out of stock now so that could be for 6 months or more - this seems really easy as my back is screaming at times - i use a Pro-X -Z table which i modified but its still heavy to setup

What's good DJ Rachel! I'm loving your DJ console. Very geniusly assembled. Quick question: who did the music track at 7:25 to 8:20 mark? That track is bangin' !!!
Thanks for checking this out! It’s just a royalty free track I found. I’ll see if I can dig up the name for you. It’s been a while since I sourced it. 👌🏻
Love the video! Lots of great info. How does the top cover fit so perfectly over your controller? Is the top cut to your specific controllers size specifications? What happens when/if you get a new controller that is a different size?
Quick question. Is the top panel custom cut? It appears to be a perfect fit. I have an older IPad controller that is probably a little smaller. Also, what a GREAT review! Fun, informative, organized, and detailed. Love the time codes which allows us to go back and reference. Last but not least, I find your reviews real and respectful. I see a trend of folks putting down others for not agreeing with their views. Probably for the shock value or they simply enjoy it. You are reviewing a “ Cadillac Escalade” Booth but are understanding of those who like an 8 year old “Nissan Sentra” Booth. Lol. New subscriber here!! Keep doing you!
Thanks for stopping by the channel. The plate is custom cut to whatever controller or tables you have. Depending on the size of the unit you may need to get the XL version of the console. If you have multiple controllers you can purchase multiple tops. Hope that answers your question!

Amazing review and thank you for putting it together. I have the same controller and I am wondering what is the weight of it with all of your gear in it.?
Thanks for stopping by the channel and checking this out! It’s an amazing console! Had a lot to cover so I appreciate your time to watch. I believe the total weight of the top with everything installed is mentioned around 13 minutes. I don’t remember the exact weight. 😂 Due to how light weight the Roland is, it’s PERFECT for this console. I do known the top with everything in it weighs less than my prox case and controller.
I love your overviews. This was very comprehensive and I really like this console system. How do you access the controller controls on the front of the controller? Most controllers I know of have inputs and connections on the front like your headphone jack and volume control for your headphones. Thanks
At 21 minutes you'll be able to see the back of the booth. You'll see that it is open. I can access all headphone jacks and inputs on my controller just fine! Thank you very much for checking this out.
Great review! You have amazing stuff. But the real question: What kind of wine was that? The bottle looked a lot like Manischewitz wine. It couldn’t be that, could it?
@@augenbraum I'm not Jewish. LOL But delicious is delicious. My Mom had a bottle and I tried it many years ago, and love it. I like sweet wine, and it doesn't get any sweeter than that!
@@DJRachelLynch Well, I grew up on it. After my BM (Mitzvah), I was allowed to start drinking it on Friday nights and was able to get down, at least, 2 cups on Passover - two nights. I don't know much about wine, but I do know about sweet wine. There's a wine that is served for dessert at nice restaurants and such. They're called Ports. From Portugal. You should try some. If you like Manischewitz, you will probably like Ports.
Do you like this booth better than the other Edge XL that covers your legs ? I should just buy that Roland mixer so i don’t have to use an external Mackie mixer anymore . Very organized setup i must say . Love it ! Setup and breakdown time is so important !
This version was the only one available when I got the booth, but I’m still very happy with it. I love the fact that this looks great with my totems. It has a very clean and unique profile. The workflow with this booth has revolutionized setup and tear down for me. 👌🏻💯 The Roland has been tremendous. I just grabbed another one actually.
The ones in this video are the ElectroVoice 30M speakers. Theses would be good for events up to 100. I also own the EVOLVE50S which would be good for events up to 150 (depending on the size of the room and client expectations). Both the 30M and EV50 are perfect for your average wedding or corporate party. I use them for 80% of my events. I’m a firm believer of using the right sound for the right job, if I need bigger I bring bigger.
Yes! My old setup time was about 1 hour! 2 Hours for a full wedding setup! NO COMPARISON with this new booth! It is why I had to have it. The time savings alone made this a worthwhile investment. I'm tired of lugging heavy gear and complicated setups. My facade alone is like 60LBS, now I can lift a 41 lbs top and be ready to go!
Very well done reviewing that new furniture. I noticed you did a stain test but then used a marker. Could the marker or pen be removed? A lot of us need work before we buy it, as well.
Permanent marker is more difficult to remove but does come off with (acetone)... however acetone is not recommended for normal cleaning or use; only “emergencies. Since a permanent marker has a resin in it may leave a slight coloration with just alcohol removal, but in a pinch, you could use a small amount of acetone to clean it off. In this case, I do not want the marker to come off, so it works out well. I haven't tried it with tons of things that stain, but it is safe to say if wine or food coloring doesn't stain it, it's pretty safe for most common spills and mishaps.
a 2000$ (without counting the laptop and celular stand and the rest of the crap) booth for a 600$ dj controller When you are so professional that you care more with the looks than with the hardware you use to work with 😂
Most clients don't know if your equipment cost a few hundred or several thousand dollars. If you have a neat clean sounding setup and a talented outgoing DJ/ entertainer you can get your Worth.
The XL version of the Infinity DJ Console can fit any controller, mixer or tables like the Rane 12. maxpbdesign.com/shop/ols/products/infinity-l-4b78d3eb-2af5-4760-95ed-eeea71d356f1
@@DJRachelLynch Nice.. I love it. I just shared this video with all my DJ buddies to check out. Had to bust some balls with it... my buddy had an ADJ event table, and left part of the truss at a venue, and he called them the following day to ask if they saw it, and he never got it back. 😆😆. I told him this one in your video was harder to lose 🤣🤣🤣
Hey! Thanks for stopping by the channel and checking out this video. It’s a really dope console. Since there are a lot of customizable features I highly recommend going to the description of the video and checking out pricing on the manufacturers website. 🙂 They start around $2,000.
The Cabli wheel can accommodate one 20ft cable. I also have a 3 foot extension mounted in the booth. If I need a longer XLR for the speakers, I can just daisy chain what I need.
The Infinity Console comes in two different versions. The one shown in the video is the regular version (fits medium-sized controllers) and they offer an XL version that can fit any larger performance-based unit like Prime 4 or Rane one or Rane 12s. Any controller/Mixer can fit in the Infinity Console, it's just a matter of whether or not you need the XL version of the regular one to accommodate your setup. You can also order multiple tops if you own different units.
Thanks for checking out the video! There is an XL version of the Infinity DJ Console that will fit any large controller or tables like the Rane 12s. Here is the link: maxpbdesign.com/shop/ols/products/infinity-l-4b78d3eb-2af5-4760-95ed-eeea71d356f1

I’m a blind DJ I have to rain 12 so I probably would need the bigger set up but do you recommend this for me how difficult do you think it would be I’m pretty efficient
Overall I find this easy to setup but there may be a few things that could be little challenging. I’m not sure if you work with an assistant like I do, but that could be an option as well. I’ve taken the time to go thoroughly over what is involved with setting this up. I highly recommend checking out the video from start to finish to see if this is something comfortable for you.
That is EXACTLY what that was! It's my favorite. LOL Good eye! Thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
@@DJRachelLynch Funny - you don't look Jewish, lol! Where on earth did YOU get turned onto the sweet stuff?
If you like Manischewitz, you will probably like Ports.
was going to send pic of my bottles - can't attach one here. I'll hit you up on FB.
The Roland has been tremendous. I just grabbed another one actually.
@@DJRachelLynch Thank You i just tried to buy the Roland 707m and it’s on back order everywhere 😱

Hello and Thanks for the video, can you please provide a link to the right angle XLR extensions, I noticed no link provided.
Thank you!!

@@DJRachelLynch Thanks. I appreciate it!!
Thank you for the video Rachel. Just a quick question on your speakers. Are they loud enough for 250 - 300 people in a wedding?
The ones in this video are the ElectroVoice 30M speakers. Theses would be good for events up to 100. I also own the EVOLVE50S which would be good for events up to 150 (depending on the size of the room and client expectations). Both the 30M and EV50 are perfect for your average wedding or corporate party. I use them for 80% of my events. I’m a firm believer of using the right sound for the right job, if I need bigger I bring bigger.
@@DJRachelLynch Thank you Rachel.
Rachel, any idea setup time comparison to old setup?
Excellent video Rachel where can I get mine please send a link

Brilliant Rachel. I must have one. Do they sell in the UK?
I believe USA shipping only. 😔
Hi Rachel,
Can you tell me W hat are those cable reels that you have your XLR cables on please?

I wish they were available in the U.K.
Great ...as usual
Thanks so much!
Lol! This is hilarious. Starts at $1699. Let’s take it sledding! Haha! That’s rad.
a 2000$ (without counting the laptop and celular stand and the rest of the crap) booth for a 600$ dj controller
When you are so professional that you care more with the looks than with the hardware you use to work with 😂
Most clients don't know if your equipment cost a few hundred or several thousand dollars. If you have a neat clean sounding setup and a talented outgoing DJ/ entertainer you can get your Worth.
does this setup work with a larger controller such as a DDJ-SZ or a Denon Prime 4? thanks for sharing!!
The XL version does. Everything is outlined in the video including dimensions and weight. 🙂
@@DJRachelLynch great, I'll look into it, thanks again!!!!
Awesome video

Well presented though.

Nice..
Meme is the right feeling
LOL! Crazy triggered doing that! I hated every second of it.
Awesome! What's the price on this?
Hey! Thanks for stopping by the channel and checking out this video. It’s a really dope console. Since there are a lot of customizable features I highly recommend going to the description of the video and checking out pricing on the manufacturers website. 🙂 They start around $2,000.
Where did you get the box for your cables?
Home Depot. 🙂
How long is the xlr cables
The Cabli wheel can accommodate one 20ft cable. I also have a 3 foot extension mounted in the booth. If I need a longer XLR for the speakers, I can just daisy chain what I need.
Very cool🙂👍🙋♂️
Thanks for stopping by the channel!
What size mixer fits in this thing?
The Infinity Console comes in two different versions. The one shown in the video is the regular version (fits medium-sized controllers) and they offer an XL version that can fit any larger performance-based unit like Prime 4 or Rane one or Rane 12s. Any controller/Mixer can fit in the Infinity Console, it's just a matter of whether or not you need the XL version of the regular one to accommodate your setup. You can also order multiple tops if you own different units.
What matt are you using setting the booth on
It’s a basic rubber mat that I got from Home Depot.
@@DJRachelLynch Are you gonna use it at events?
@@dennyd935 something similar. I want a nice black one. I think it looks nice and keeps it cleaner. 🙂
Do you know if a version will fit a Rane 12/Rane 72 setup? I couldn’t find it on the MFG website to order.
Thanks for checking out the video! There is an XL version of the Infinity DJ Console that will fit any large controller or tables like the Rane 12s.

Looks badass. Far too rich for me but a guy can dream lol
Thanks so much for watching!
I have this weird thing about people seeing my legs when I’m at the booth!
Thanks for checking this out! I have heard a few others say this too. This booth may not be for everyone, and that's ok! There are other options out there that may have the look you like. As for functionality and ease of setup I haven't found better! I'll just make sure I always got fresh shoes on! LOL

nice
I’m a blind DJ I have to rain 12 so I probably would need the bigger set up but do you recommend this for me how difficult do you think it would be I’m pretty efficient
Overall I find this easy to setup but there may be a few things that could be little challenging. I’m not sure if you work with an assistant like I do, but that could be an option as well. I’ve taken the time to go thoroughly over what is involved with setting this up. I highly recommend checking out the video from start to finish to see if this is something comfortable for you. This should answer all your questions! Thanks for stopping by the channel and have a great event season! Cheers!
@@DJRachelLynch I do have an assistant sometimes LOL I do appreciate your feedback cheers
Do you think the ddj 800 can fit
Yes, it will fit in either model.
