Oh! This is great! Please oh please do a Shrimp paste..lol i think its called! Since these are Mung bean noodle , would work for folks with wheat alkergies, right?
Silent viewer here. I've been watching for quite some time now. I must say. Your enthusiasm and to the point recipies got me hooked. Furthermore, I'm Thai American myself and have been living abroad, Italy, over 20 yrs.! I'm always trying to create dishes and love to cook! BUT Thai is in my heart. I thank you for keeping it real. Makes me miss my family. Mamma is in Washington. Sisters in CA., GA.! The rest back home in BK, Nakhon Phathom, Surat Thani, Nakhon si Thammarahat! Proud Thai! Kisses!
i love it because your very specific with ingredients and you even suggest alternative ing.just incase we dont have it in our place.....and funny not boring...thanks
I know this is an old video but great recipe! I made it tonight. I did change a few things based on what I already had in the house. Instead of cabbage I used celery. I didn't have tomatoes, so I used mushrooms instead. Other than that I followed the instructions exactly. Very good! I did think it needed a little heat, so I added Sriracha at the table. Thanks!
I love watching your cooking videos. I'm Lao and there are soo many recipes that I want to learn. I live 600 miles away from my family so its hard to get the recipe and learn without watching. And thanks to your awesome videos, I'm able to learn new recipes, and be able to cook more Thai food, along side with Lao food as well.
Hi, I tried this recipe and follow all the ingredients (including blue mountain sauce) of course, my hubby loved it. Even my older teenage Son who generally dislike noodle finished it up. Great recipe with simple ingredients. Well done!
I made this last night and even though I think I got the order of how to put the ingredients into it wrong, it tasted AMAZING!! Thank you for this recipe!
I made this today but doublers the recipe. I’m so glad I did it was so good we couldn’t stop eating it! So yummy thank you for sharing your beautiful culture. I hope to visit Thailand some day.
My 87 year old Irish mother has been converted. We grew up on meat and potatoes type deal, but I evolved into a real international foodie and have brought her into the fold along the way... I keep the heat level low for her, but I make our portions separately and make hers mild, and then make mine kicked up a notch or 2. She loves it, plus its healthy for her.
Pailin i made this last evening for my family. A huge success, I modified a little. I added button mushrooms, broccoli and thai chills. I have made many dishes for my family so far this is their favorite. Thanks for all of your videos, i plan to try more.
Made this for dinner tonight. Must say. This is my absolute favorite Thai dish. Now I can make it at home. My husband loved it. Had two big servings himself. Love your videos. Keep them coming. Second dish I’ve made from you. :-) thank you so very much for posting
Favourite stir fry! It's perfect as a post work out meal, especially during hot summers when you want food to be filling but not heavy. That and peanut curry are always on my order list because the food is never greasy.
Thank you. I found your vid on morning Glory dish. I live in Chiang Mai and learning to cook some of the vegetables I find at the Market. This is great!
I made your pad woon sen recipe and it turned out really tasty! My partner also liked the dish a lot. I did add a bit of cornstarch and water to the chicken to tenderize the meat and I substituted julienne red peppers for the missing carrots. Overall, you explained the ingredients and the step by step process really well and I look forward to trying out more of your recipes!
I made this recipe today, but substituted salsa for the tomato and pepper, and a packet of instant ramen noodles for the glass noodles. Still turned out very tasty.
I cooked this dish today...delish! I used Chinese broccoli instead of cabbage and also a yam noodle called Shirataki instead of the noodle in this dish. I saw a different tutorial of yours using the yam noodle and also googled this noodle and had to try it. It tastes no different from the regular glass noodle. Anyhoos, great job and a must cook! The noodle in this dish is delish also. I just had to try the yam one :)
I just made this and it was my first time cooking glass noodles and it turned out so good!! I'm so proud I was able to make something this tasty, thank you for the wonderful recipe and the detailed guidance!!
Mandy from Souped Up Recipes sent me, and I'm seriously enjoying your videos, Miss Pai! You're sassy, fun, lighthearted, and as a long time Thai cooking enthusiast on my end who does pretty well as bachelors go, I can always learn new things and approaches. Oh, and you being gorgeous doesn't hurt, either. :) I've already subscribed and look forward to learning more from your videos!
Amazingly simple and gorgeous dish. I wonder...do you think some version of this could work with tuna? I have been in the mood for tuna lately. Thank you so much for your beautiful recipes. ~Sharon
HI there Pai! Tried this recipe for dinner and it was yummy! The only thing is that I had no cabbage so I used cauliflower. It turned out well and my daughter loved it. Thanks Pai!
I made this tonight and it was so easy and delicious to make! I love your recipes and I enjoy how you simplify everything. Will definitely be making this dish again! Thank you!
For mine, I use fish sauce and oyster sauce. No cabbage. Bean sprouts. No carrots. Shitake mushrooms tomatoes optional. Onion garlic Green onion chicken egg It's much better. Also, I don't add egg until after everything is cooked after adding the noodles. The egg is the last thing I put in the dish except for bean sprouts.
I just recently discovered your channel and love watching your videos and recipes. we're having Thai week at home...pad woon sen, yum woon sen and pad thai! all from your recipes :)
I finally know what to do with all those noodles I bought last year at Cosco :) Thank you - this recipe was very well done. I finally tried it tonight (only change I made was substitute carrots for mushrooms because I hate carrots) and it was AMAZING. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your talent with the world. :) Jana.

That's expensive!
My Thai dish orders would be around that after tip, delivery and an extra charge for shrimp substitute
