- HOPE RESTORED
Natural disasters have struck all over, lives lost, homes lost, livelihood lost. Amidst the turmoil and the aftermath, people have rallied together in an effort to offer assistance. Donations were collected, people from all over volunteered their time, fuel and vehicles. Among those volunteers were truckers; hauling in supplies and most of all...hope.
Stephanie of Diesel Addict Photos wrote this poem earlier this year as a spin-off to "So God Made A Farmer" in an effort to bring awareness to the donation sites and provoke others to offer up assistance to those that need our help. Please see the donation sites listed at the end of the video and consider offering some hope of your own.
In light of the government bringing on more regulations to the trucking industry it is important to recognize and appreciate the truckers out there that are not only out doing the deal, but have hearts to donate the necessary transportation to help those that have experienced unfathomable loss. Truckers are the forefront in transportation of goods we use everyday. We can't have what we want without them. In the need of relocation specialists, "God Made A Trucker". - Written By: Stephanie Haas / Diesel Addict Photos

I showed this to my 5 year old daughter one day, when she went to school the teacher was talking about how God created the universe and on the seventh day He rested. My daughter said and on the 8th day he created a trucker, the teacher smiled, and said "really", then my daughter showed her this video, teacher had tears in her eyes and never saw what we REALLY do. Keep up the good videos guys.
LOVE THIS ❤️, 39 yrs and counting ❤️, tell your daughter to pull the air horn when passing the big truck! Some us still have them!
Awesome story!! Tom Jones...I'm probably a little younger than you...27 years and counting. I still get a big smile and it still warms my heart when a child (or at heart) motions me to blow the air horn...always blow it
Awesome...42 years and counting..
13 1/2 years and counting. I still blow my air horn when I see that arm, no matter a adult or child. Always put a smile on my face. I always do my pre-trips and post-trips even when I get a dirty look. 😊
@@laurajacomet5303 keep doing what your doing....always safe and be professional....something you don't see out here at all anymore.
A Trucker is not what I do...It’s who I am....and I’m proud to be a Trucker.
I'm so proud God made my daddy a trucker, missed a lot of time with him growing up holidays, birthday's, birth ot my children, but I understood that he did it for me, my five sister and four brothers. I got to see all the country because of him. I'm proud to be a truckers daughter. I wouldn't trade him for the world.
You were always in his heart and mind of that I am sure.
Thank you to all the men and women that drive the trucks and stay up all night just to get to the destination
To all the truckers out there you all are what keeps this country going. Some people don't understand the sacrifice you all make when you leave your family to make your runs across the country. So thank you for all you do.
Trucking (as well as cars) is one of the worst things created by humanity: extremely dangerous, inefficient, environmentally unfriendly. Trains are much better
Thank you to all my fellow drivers. Keep the rubber down and the Chrome up and Shinny. May your Guardian angel always be in your passenger seat with you.
This video makes me proud to be a driver.
I wish the general population could comprehend even a smidgen of this... it's what we do and it's a thankless job. Trucking takes its toll on EVERYTHING in your life... but you still hold that steering wheel, watch all the details, live on naps... and stay strong without support.... at least not in the 'traditional' sense. Nobody holds our hands. Sink or Float... not everyone is cut out for this profession. Like it, Love it, Hate it... it is what we do,... without question... from start til finish. Tears come to our eyes... but not because of sadness... because of sheer exhaustion. Great video Chris.. (and Steph) you guys rock..... let's throw Daniel Linns in there while we're at it. Keep up the good work. It's nice to know that there are some people who have our backs when most look at us as sinister and evil.
Tommy Sargeant thank you for everything you do
Couldn't have said it better myself
Well said Brother...Stay safe out there
Great words. Stay safe driver 10-4!
We are not liked because we drive a little fast sometimes. We are loud and obnoxious. Because we are alone most of the time . So we get around other drivers and have a good time. Talk about our trucks and who's is faster. But people don't mind eating the food we deliver. Or the toys they buy for kids at Christmas. Or the toilet paper they wipe with . But they don't stop and think about , most truckers would park their truck in the woods or on it's side . TO SAVE THEIR LIVES , ALOT OF TRUCKERS HAVE GIVE THEIR LIVES TO SAVE A CAR LOAD OF PEOPLE . But we are considered outlaws. I would take that name any day. Over being called a shiney seat of the pants pencil pusher. At least we work for our money. And work damn hard. People cut us off , and it's our fault. Proud to be a retired trucker with 5 safe driving awards . To all of you drivers new and old. Keep the shiney side up and the dirty side down .
God made Bob Spooner for sure. And God made this land for the trucker to roam.
I was wondering if anyone recognized that old hand. Bob was a good one no doubt about it
Only a select few can do this job, great video
Thank God I'm a trucker. Y'all be safe out there, keep the rubber side down. Happy Thanksgiving
God bless all of you 🙏🇺🇸❣️
Thank you
Thank you brother keep your rubber side down and your clearance lights facing up to the skies, And the cement seas under the rubber, Let your arms fall soft for the holiday brother, Rest now for after, The cement sea calls your name, Don’t let the white line fever set in!! Much love brother!
I am damn proud that I was a Truck Driver for 19years, I am grateful for each year

I have so much respect to truck driver. when my dad pop in for 5 minute give me and my little brother 20 dollar each take a shower and go back on the road in his 1997 red and yellow Kenworth w900l single turbo truck. He always tell me if I want something or have a question about a semi truck or a car let him know. My dad show me why he is a truck driver and how these 4 wheeler have no respect for him and show me how it is on the road with him. Show how the cloth on my back the stuff in my house and the road I drive on and the school is all they because of the truck driver community.so I give my hat of to men and women who are truck driver if people do not respect u for remember I have respect for all you truck driver.i know the you all truck driver keep the 18 wheel roading so that your family can have a better life for your family.🛣🚙🌛🌑🌝🌞

My husband was a long haul trucker for 25 years . NC to California to Texas to Florida..... we weren't together back then ... I've knew each other we were good friends but I never got to ride with him ... He tells me stories about being on the road ..
Makes me wish I could have gone a few times ... I would have loved to see and be in all the places he has ... one day maybe hopefully...
My Daddy was a trucker. Thanks for the memories.
Great video. Much respect for all of our truckers! Thank you
You're welcome.
the 7 voters who thumbed down obviously never needed a trucker...
I gave it a thumb down... I have 2 million miles so far.. the industry is a complete joke.. dude I could go on for a hour about all the bullshit and regulations on trucking.. this is nothing short of a la la land filled with gumdrops and unicorns...
ignorant.
F18M 223 bet you’re jealous cause you probably can’t own a badass rig like these guys he interviews. Who started out where we all did, but they made something of it. Humble dudes that don’t bitch and complain cause of regulations. I love trucking, and no elog for me. To the drivers who have bitched their whole careers of this industry then fucking get out of it.
Amish.
@@joshuastevens5910 give that stupid waste of space hell! If it wasnt for truckers this country would shut down in a hurry! And yet these wonderful people still endure the bullshit because most of them have the biggest kindest hearts of anyone in th world! 💞👍👍
4th generation trucker here been driving 10 years don't plan to quit anytime soon trucking is all I know I bleed Diesel and damn proud of what I do.
God bless all of us truckers I will always be a trucker and I am proud
Great video Chris my family have been drivers since the 50's it's a great profession that gets little respect. I started in 72 an since then I feel the public has lost respect for the drivers and see us as less than human. Most wish we would disappear and give them all of the roads to themselves.
Keith James Not so Keith. Some people just don't have any respect for others at all. Don't feel singled out. A lot of people have no respect for others on the road. I see it, and I'm not a truck driver. Some of us do appreciate you all. Just drove from exit 28 of I87 Northway in N.Y. to exit 6. Just so you know, I gave a brief wave, and the thumbs up to each driver as I passed. Hope you're home for Thanksgiving. If not, God Bless anyways. 👍
Wow, nailed it great job Chris. Shout out to Rabbit River Transport awesome company!
I may not be a stereotypical trucker, but I do local deliveries on a daily basis and there have been many sacrifices I have made to ensure folks will have an ice cold beer at the end of a hard day and to feed my wife and I. I’m just getting started in this industry but I am proud to be a trucker.
Thanks to friend of mine 3 yrs lived in trk as seen all states as very many kept going back to
I'll never forget and pray that someday I can stand before Congress and give testimony to the TRUE SOLDIERS YOU ARE..
I LOVE YOU
Great tribute to the brotherhood. Loved seeing the hopper bottoms in there since I’m a member of the hopper bottom mafia. Ashes to ashes dust to dust wasn’t for hopper bottoms the left lane would rust!!!!! Happy thanksgiving to all my fellow drivers.
I'm on a binge of going through all these thank you videos. I have only noticed the big rigs, what about all the other professional drivers. Straight truck, pick up truck, sprinter van. We're all away from our family's to keep this country Rollin. Thank you truckers
Thank you, Jason. Road Builder.
Thanks for the video and thanks to my fellow truckers.
Keep the wheels turning we can do what trains can't do.
We do what computers can't do they can only assist in our job.
God made my dad a trucker. Hes been truckin for the last thirty years and he will keep driving untill he cant shift those gears anymore. And when that day comes he will smile and recall those were the best years of his life. That truck paid for me to go to school. It paid for the clothes on my back. It gave me a chance to grow up. The man behind the wheel is the man i call dad. I will always be thankful for that.
My dad has been trucking since 1993 and still is driving to the end and I really appreciate what my dad does
Awesome video!! I'm second generation trucker just starting my 28 year. Not too sure of new regs but only thing I know. Stay strong my brothers and sisters 🇺🇸

#TruckersWorldWide
I just started trucking a few months ago and this just gives me goosebumps
My dad has been a trucker for 33 years. I have always learned to appreciate the profession.
That should be the FIRST training vid played to every classroom HANDS DOWN
God Bless my Brother and Sister Trucker's Stay Safe
I have seen so many videos where truckers helped block criminals during police pursuits (Of course, not "their job") that I know that truckers are the "knights of the road". "We" don't think of them actively, but Truckers and Railroaders are who keep this whole dang thing rollin'. Stay safe out there! 10-4!
Ive never heard it put more honestly & beautifully.
Great Video! Helping fellow Americans!
Thank you to ALL truckers!!
God bless, be safe.
With not forgetting:
"The people's convoy 2022"

Great video. I come from generations of professionals drivers and I’m keeping the legacy going
Good for a smile on the road during Thanksgiving. Just climbed back behind the wheel after a few months off to spend time with family. Reminds me why I started driving in the first place.

Thank you
I myself am a trucker. My father was a trucker, he tragically passed on November 5, 2015 from a car accident. My uncle on my mom’s side was an owner operator, and he just passed away yesterday, October 14, 2021 due to cancer. It is because of them that I take pride in what I do.
Sorry for your loss Drew. Goodspeed.
Great job as always chris loved the video
I'm a 3rd generation trucker. I thank God everyday for giving me what it takes to live this life. I can't imagine being anything but a trucker.
That was the best Video. Thank God for Trucker it keep the The world going .
Thank you truckers
This is awesome. This truly encompasses every part of the old school trucking industry. The generation that is sadly fading and sadly falling to the wayside because of regulation and new breed seat warmers. There are very few greenhorns out there now that are willing to keep this old mentality alive. Trucking is becoming less of a livelihood, and more of a job. People like you are what keep the light burning for this industry that's trying to be snuffed out. They'll never be able to kill trucking. No matter how regulated they try to make it. We will keep rolling.
Heading for the Air Force, but I'll be back on the road once I'm in the reserves. Old school Trucking will never die if I've got anything to say about it.
How can they snuff it out? What would they replace it with? Transport by Rail? Air?
This is beautiful. Yes, God made truckers and I appreciate all they do.
Much ❤️ safe travels Happy New Year
No better family to have and ive learnt more through trucking with my dad then i did in school and I wouldn't trade it for anything else and personally I dont see myself doing anything else
This is something that inspire me to be a trucker wish god help me with that dream... God Made a Trucker great job chris
