I think you picked a performance where she was sick, she has much better performances of this song. Sohyang is a cancer survivor who has battled health issues for many years, please ask and we will name the best versions of all of her songs. For this one there is her version on the show I Am A Singer 2012: #06, So Hyang - Oh Holy Night, 소향 - 오 홀리 나잇, I Am a Singer2 20121223 or there is a more recent one that is fan cam: (소향) Oh Holy Night (오 홀리나잇) 2022.11.26 There would be a few others but this has good sound quality.
So Hyang is considered by many to be the best female singer on earth (always an opinion, of course, but voice experts pretty much agree her techniques and talents are on the highest tier). This was just a taste of what she can do. Her 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' from KBS TV or "I Have Nothing' from the DMC Festival are just a couple of her better known live performances. Thanks for having her on. Her version of this song from a TV show in Korea is even better, though it is done in the same fashion. She has the highest belting voice for a female singer...
You should listen to her different songs. She just sang this song in a church for the congregations. Not perfect setting, not perfect instrument, but pretty well.
Today, it's between So Hyang and Mori. I think So Hyang has a slight edge but she's also 45 and Mori is 26, though she doesn't look like it at all. For this song, Mori has the best version ever, also sung in a church. Please react to more from both artists. This performance is not the best example of So Hyang. Not sure what it is.
I prefer So Hyang's version from I Am Singer version to Mori's, but that is just my preference. Mori is great, So Hyang has more tools in her vocal basket (IMO).

I don't want to sound like the Grinch, but for me that performance was meh, nothing special about it. Don't get me wrong, the girl can sing, it was just lackluster. There are a lot better performances of O Holy Night out there. Puff puff pass 🙏✌️
