A personal theory of mine as to why so many people get creeped out by this, is possibly because humans through millions of years of evolution we have adapted to use our senses our sight being one of those primary senses. Now I believe people see things like this as creepy is because it looks human like at a distance we perceived it as human but upon closer inspection we see that it's not human and a tiny little piece of our brain screams "this thing is just pretending to be human it's a possible predator!" Like how some species of animals evolve to look like their prey as a way to lure them in close to attack and eat.

A personal theory of mine as to why so many people get creeped out by this, is possibly because humans through millions of years of evolution we have adapted to use our senses our sight being one of those primary senses.
Now I believe people see things like this as creepy is because it looks human like at a distance we perceived it as human but upon closer inspection we see that it's not human and a tiny little piece of our brain screams "this thing is just pretending to be human it's a possible predator!" Like how some species of animals evolve to look like their prey as a way to lure them in close to attack and eat.
