THIS IS GAME I REALLY WANNA MAKE INTO A REAL GAME WITHOUT USING SCRATCH'S LIMITED RESOURCES AND HAVING ALL THE CRAPPY SCRATCH BUGS THAT COME WITH IT, BUT THIS IS A FUN CONCEPT OF HOW I THINK IT SHOULD LOOK - ITS NOT THE BEST BUT I PUT MY BEST FOOT FORWARD WITH THE TOOLS I HAD

I have a plan. Milo gave me an idea. But he doesn't have to take it. It involves a guesstimate of a Smash Roster Height to Canon Height list/equation I once made. Just in case I can't finish what involves it, I'll make the calculator first. Of course, since it'll have to be reworked to involve the Scratch Screen and not the RUclips Miniplayer, it'll be... awkward. Aaaaaaaand I just realized you probably don't care. . . Right. Well... I guess I'll get to work anyway.

In terms of characters, I think SMG4 and TerminalMontage have some pretty good moveset potential and sound like fun picks for the roster.

ngl the fact this game was able to be made in scratch is pretty inspiring, as someone who hopes to maybe get into game development it's cool to see the progress! i can't wait for the future of this project!

Also short tip: next best choice for a non scratch engine is godot, it has really easy and navigable interface

Agreed, but like have done bonuses, like maybe certain kickstarters get extra styles, like Super Bryson in Haminations, or maybe a young Riggy with the jacket and pants on.

Your character selection is really good and I know it is difficult to add characters but I really recomend you to add broddy animates to the roaster
i love animation youtubers, i konw you put a lot more time into your videos than other youtubers, so i'll be patient for the games release, just know that i'm super hyped for this when it does happen!

Damn this game looks sick! Good luck with making it an actual game! (btw, something you may want to fix (if not intentional) is infinite jumping. You can do so by making a "Can Jump?" variable and changing it to "no" if the y position is higher than the movement y position and set it back to "yes" when it is at said position. Then you can simply put the entire jump code in a "if (Can Jump) = yes")

IDEA, if this were to be a real game, maybe you should try to go BEYOND RUclips animators. Maybe RUclips gamers as well. You could also try to add RUclipsrs who kids enjoy, like GameToons, FeraAnimations, ect. Heck, even cringy but well known RUclipsrs could be on the list, like Aphmau or- Lankybox- Maybe that was a mistake… Anyway, I’ve actually been sketchy things like this ever since I watched your first Animation Annihilation video. Maybe you could add different costumes! Like if the Odd1sout were to be a character, he could have his Sooubway or Furrh costume. And with Jaiden, she could have her gameshow or Pokémon trainer costume. And your idea with fighting to leave is a great idea! Maybe, you could add something similar to a Final Smash, but instead of smashing a ball, you would have a red bar, it would fill every time you K.O. or attack an opponent. Then, when the bar is filled, you would gain a “RUclips Error” mask, which would be a red box with “:/“ on it. Then, the player could do something called a “RUclips Strike”, which could be inspired by their RUclips channel videos or even songs! Like with the Odd1sout, he could gain a microphone, rap a certain part of his song, “Good Person”, and pennies could fly in from the left when he finishes his line. There could also be a story mode, like you described in your video. I don’t know if this could be real, but maybe there could be a collaboration with Discord, where you could call in certain RUclipsrs who aren’t in the game, it would act like an Assist Trophy. And maybe, you could record scenes from the game, and there could be a game mode where you can edit them and post them right onto a RUclips account! The possibilities are ENDLESS! I hope at least someone reads this comment.
I mean, there is a secret web browser on the Switch you can access with a cool loophole, and controller support for games do actually work, so if you added controller support for the Switch, it would still be possible. Same with Xbox and PlayStation, but I not sure how those would work either 🤷♂️

If you update the game to add more characters, you should definitely add a character from battle for dream island I don’t know who but it sounds like a cool idea
Oh yeah this Is like a really cool idea so if you’re looking for a designer I think that I can do it I have never really worked with scratch, but I can get the hang of it
I’d definitely recommend getting the help of other people to create this. It may be hard for up and coming video game developers to find them, if you ask the right people, I’m sure they’ll gladly help you.
With the support you’re getting from the comments sections from your videos dedicated to your game, I’m sure it’ll be at least a little easier to find those people.

For the final battle against the game master, right before you meet them, it should be revealed you are the game master.
This is a good idea for a game, but to actually make this a real game you need to get permission from the actual RUclipsr to be in the game so for example, if you would want Riggy to be in there, you would need to get permission from Danno Draws
not to mention that nintendo will deny your switch sdk access request for any & every reason. if he barely knew how to use scratch, i HIGHLY doubt nintendo is gonna just hand it over. i'm not meaning to be rude, just honest.
Fun idea: if you use a tool called turbo warp (specifically it’s packager) you can export the game as an actual playable pc game.
if you were to make an officail animation smash, i have final smash suggestions!
the second coming: turns into his super form and shoots a laser beam across the map, you can aim it up or down, it will deal constant damage
jaden animations: her bird ari and tofu flys in (and ari and tofu is now huge) and you can control ari, flying up, down, left, right, and touching a foe with ari will damage them, but tofu will just be flying randomly damaging foes
hamimations: his hand becomes huge and slapping anyone in front of him, they then go into the air (like cloud's final smash) and his ham wil start damaging the foe for a couple of seconds, after that he winds up a big ah punch and sends him flying!
riggy: hr takes out his skateboard and spins really fast, you may move around wile this happens, people will get sorta sucked in, if they go in riggy wile this happens, they will be delt with constand damage
these are just suggestion, haha!

Making a game with the story mode, I would recommend trying to do a 2d character 3D environment which to start I would recommend unity. You can learn it pretty quickly and it is so fun to work with.
It might take a long time to make it, but we all support you! ❤

Just so your aware, if you want to put this on a console or steam, your gonna have to remake the entire game on a different game maker engine such as unity or unreal, just because scratch games can't go on console or steam due to limitations and licensing issues.

I'd say, try to make a mod for SSBU. I know it would kinda be hard to make the mod, or mod in general. But if you see this, I know you would be able to make it.
You could potentially do a Kickstarter after you have the permission of enough animators to actually make the game

I myself started as a scratch developer, and am now working towards doing Godot. The only issue is I sucked even at scratch so I am having a hard time learning Godot XD maybe I should stick to scratch for awhile lol

Character idea 1: SMG4 I feel like smg4 would be a good Character to add and an edit style for him would make him smg3 and an attack would be sending out mario doing something random and a range attack could be throwing the crazy kebord from its gotta be PERFECT.
Character idea 2:CANE the amazing digital circus would be so good to add to a game like this cane would be able to have a flying ability like kirby and be able to summon portals by clicking on 2 different spots on the map and throw gloinks witch will stick to players and then explode
Item ideas: just like in smash random items can spawn and here are some.
Amazing digital circus items: canes staff witch will summon bubble and home in at the nearest player and deal tons of dmg and the staff would only be able to be used 3 times. Gangles mask her mask will be a throwing item witch when thrown will Crack it and spawn gangle who will put on her angry mask and run at the player you threw it at
Eddsworld items:Cola the cola will be a throwing item witch when thrown will slowly speed up and do more dmg the faster it is. Tords button when pressing it will spawn the tord bot who is slow but will do a lot of dmg.
Riggy items:paint bomb the paint bomb when thrown at a player will act like a blooper in mario kart because the bomb will blind you with blue paint. Mini riggy toy the toy will walk towards the nearest player and explode when hit.
Dev of 5 years, it really will seem fun for you to make, good luck to you.

I really hope that Garrett the Carrot can get added eventually. He's pretty underrated, as far as I'm aware. Also SMG4 and TerminalMontage would be lit.
I see two options for getting more animators in the game. Workshop Compatibility so that people could add the animators they want, or KickStarter or something like that to get the money for official stuff.
Software wise, using FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) would be a good idea to save money (and to support smaller stuff). Brackeys returned and is now making highly produced tutorial videos on the game engine Godot. GIMP could also be a good option for image editing. As for animation software, I actually have no idea 💀.

1.Maybe something like a pixel art would be easy at first then trace the pixel art in the respective style

For Riggy make it so he's do combo his abilities like in that one boss battle when he fights the Clone version of himself and maybe you can make the characters have different skins so like Riggy can have the shadow character and clone.
If its on switch i would completely buy it
FYI if you want to port it to steam you would have to make the game from the ground up. If I may recommend an engine I recommend game maker studio. Game maker is primarily used for 2d games pixelated games. Also make sure all the animators characters are used with full permission from the creators before uploading the game to steam.
