What made Joe so great was not just his voice but all the emotions he felt and put into his messages, I call them that because I really feel like he was delivering what was in his mind and heart when he sang. There will never be another Joe.
I saw him that year in Holland ... 'Have a Little Faith' had just come out. Amazing CD and magical night! RIP Joe, thanks for the happiness you brought to millions.
Joe Cocker's scream in the middle of With a Little Help My Friends is the centerpiece of the entire 1969 Woodstock festival - everything revolved around that explosive high point, even Jimi Hendrix.
Hello Dale, I was born, 27. 7,58,so I had to wait 13 years. Until Joe Cocker came to Amsterdam. And I totally agree with you man! AMAZING CONCERT IN THE DUTCH RAI. I'M 64. BUT that life v Concert is one of the highlightmmmmm of my life. Hamm a great life Dale. Goodbye Ed.
I love your music Joe, I'm sad I never got a chance to see you preform live. I have as many of your recording as I can find in my library, we will see you again some day in heaven or the next life, God bless you Joe Cocker
The Man. That dude was an absolute original. He will be missed but thankfully we have him on video and tracks. Rocked the Essential Collection this afternoon while drinking coffee from my concert mug. About an hour later I read he had passed. Just one of those unique things that happen. RIP big'n
Joe was much more than my favourite singer it´s a strange thing that I can´t state clearly hours and hours in my life listening his music. Heart and Soul Master and he was able to perform a little opera in 3 or 4 minutes. Thanks for all and R.I.P Joe my friend.
Bought your first album in '69 ... Got to see you in '72 ... I feel like the last piece of my youth slipped away yesterday ... RIP and Bye Bye Blackbird ...
Wow..One of many UniqueNess about Lovely Joe..HIS EMOTIONS. Are what I love..I feel touched by all he put into The Music..LOVED 4 EVER..Our Joe..Your Baby Just wrote you A LETTER...R.I.P. GOD BLESS YOUR SOUL...
What a great performance. So much heart and soul in his performance. And the band and back-up singers were just brilliant. Joe Cocker is no longer with us, but he will forever be remembered thanks to his music.
Joe Cocker was 1 hell of a performer. Seen him in Central Park in 1980. Joe also won an award for his version of his cover of the Beatles song "With a little help from my friends." Of course when you make a cover of any song that was originally done by another band you must get the original bands permission because royalties are involved. Gee after working in the music industry for 37 years 5 months I guess I did learn something ! 😊😎
I saw an interview with him right after this,he was asked what the difference was in this show and the original Woodstock, he replied, "This time my band wasn't on acid" LOL
HEY JOE MON MORCEAU PREFERE du vinyl que j'avais dans ma chambre à l'âge de 17 ans, thank you for this video souvenir, j'ai 68 ans signé l'ancien monde qui persiste et signe.........VIVE LA MUSIQUE de mon époque
Rest in peace Joe Cocker. I saw him live in the Columbia Gorge with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Tragically both are now dead. Honestly, I’m mostly a metal head, but that was one of the greatest live shows I have seen in my entire life.
Mad dog and englishmen. Espetacular obra de arte . Valeu Mãe! Salve Pai!
In my opinion, It's usually a good idea not to cover the Beatles, because it's almost impossible to do it as good as they did. Unless your name is Joe Cocker.
In my opinion, any song the Beatles did is usually better by someone else. Beatles are so over rated. Separately they were very good artists individually.
When i get to wherever i'm going in my next life, i really hope Joe and so many musicians contemporary to him are there in a similar musical form to see me on my journey... .
You know, they all grew up next door to each other. Beatles from liverpool. Ozzie from Birmingham. Joe from sheffield. Joe cocker is one of of the best vocalists that's ever lived.
I was first row right in front of Joe C. Awesome! Until the deludge! Right after "I get high With a little help from my friends" What a strange trip it was, indeed....
I was front row for this performance I am proud to say! RIP-Joe, you will go down as one of the top ten memorable performances I have ever seen.
I was wondering if I could spot my self and my crew.....94 mud stock. Was heaven and he'll wrapped up in three days.😂😂😂

Joe inspired the crowd to let it all hang out ... with a little help from his friends!

Respectfully, StoneFree, I believe Sarah White was saying RIP, or R.I.P. Joe Cocker, which is short and respectful for Rest In Peace.

I can't believe there are 12 dislikes as of 27/12/14. What sort of person would dislike this for heaven's sake? Surely that's just 12 trolls.
12 idiots
black scorpion, stay cool.they got nothin better to do with their lives but try to upset others, just ignore them, and enjoy!!!
It's kind off going thru me, but that's just my opinion
Rest in peace Joe Cocker. I saw him live in the Columbia Gorge with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Tragically both are now dead. Honestly, I’m mostly a metal head, but that was one of the greatest live shows I have seen in my entire life.

Correct. Very well stated. Nothing he did ever went wrong. 1 of the 10 best rock vocalists thar ever lived. This is randy newman..
Heard my first foreign language in Germany over the PA at the train station on a 6 country survey tour.
Is a great men in his music.
At the end he says "See you again in 2019!" Unfortunately he didn't have the chance :(
I know..God called him Home. R.I.P. Beautiful Joe..Emotion in all he did..
Great to see Paul Warren on Guitar with Joe - Greatness all around.

You know, they all grew up next door to each other. Beatles from liverpool. Ozzie from Birmingham. Joe from sheffield. Joe cocker is one of of the best vocalists that's ever lived.
We welcomed music of all kinds and there were those who made the cut easily. Joe was an obvious hit.
No need for words.
I was first row right in front of Joe C. Awesome! Until the deludge! Right after "I get high With a little help from my friends" What a strange trip it was, indeed....
Love Joe-loved him the first time. Why did they have to call it Woodstock? It wasn’t. It was just an overproduced concert.
