What should you do in case of an on-campus attack? First: RUN AWAY! If that is not possible, then find a place to HIDE. As a last resort, use anything you can to FIGHT back. Throw chairs, bags, books, or even a fire extinguisher to thwart the attacker. When you are safe, call 911. Make sure you are aware of your surroundings in any building by noticing exits. Running is the best course of action in nearly every situation, so leave items behind and flee. If you must hide, do so in small groups rather than large groups.
