🕺🕺🔥🔥- how perfect was Deejay for this? A lovely Geoff arrangement. They always surprise us... Classical Chaos and then this - they must have been thankful there was no make-up required 🌹🕊.
I love the fact that it’s more intimate because they slowed it down. I like the stripped down jazzy, bluesy, sultry, sexy sound of it. And they all look the part! I really appreciate that even though DeeJay‘s voice could easily be mistaken for Michael Jackson’s, they did not slavishly copy the song. They rearranged it to feature his voice but make it their own. I love Geoff’s bassline, Eli’s gorgeous clear tones and the fact that we got to hear Layne sing with Cesar (One of my favorite parts. ) DeeJay gets a couple of chances to riff for a while. It reminds me of the Motown sounds that I grew up with. This is definitely going to be one of my favorites.
This is the second Michael Jackson song that Deejay has done with Voiceplay. The first one was The Man in the Mirror. I couldn't find it on your playlist, so I don't think you've reacted to it. It was recorded the last day that J None was with them before he left to serve in the US Navy, singing there. You will love it, although it won't affect you quite the same way. This arrangement by Geoff was, as you said, so sensual and sexy!
Your reaction has me smiling from ear to ear. Geoff’s jazzy arrangement is just perfect and the performances are over the top amazing.
Such a cool arrangement of this song. Gorgeous. Geoff's soft bass was a wonderful foundation for DeeJays's high riffs.

Your face said everything!!

LOL love your reactions Samantha. Especially with Voiceplay and Geoff 😁😁😁😁😁
The original MJ video effected me the same way ,but this cover has turned all that around. Great reaction
That was some reaction, Samantha! Thank you! Cheers!
Loved your expressions in your reaction! They did such a great job in this song.
They all smashed it!!😊😊
Always love your reactions, so emotional & so much feeling, just like Voiceplay & their performances. Deejay was just perfect for this song.
So good.
Fantastic rendition.
They always change it up. But in a good way. They respect the original artist in everything they do.
Geoff definitely seems to have gone for more of a jazz arrangement than anything more closely resembling the original - but it works so well!
Deejay is pronounced like initials... D-J?.. 😊
I know right?
Sam!?! Why don't ya just tell us what ya think of it, huh!?! : ) Be Safe
