My mom helps me to expand my horizons that homemade food is the best food for me. Sometimes, I chastised by my siblings because of eating boring food always 😄
I love Thakali Food(Traditional food from Nepal ). Which included rice, pickel(more than 4 items), vegetable curry, chicken curry or meat curry or Fish curry whatever you want along with lintel, Ghee, salad. If you planning to visit Nepal you can eat this food as your dinner or lunch.
Thank youu for your postcards. Watching them helps me broaden my horizons. This video is about the taste. The fact that the taste partly depend on genes and DNA, so the taste is unique, that results in wine competitions become pointless 😢
One of the most shocking realizations for me was that over 80% of the world's population can't digest dairy products. Additionally, many of my friends are unable to taste the natural sugars in milk.
Jeremy the Jedi wanted to broaden his horizons and research the different colours a lightsaber could have and why it's that colour. However, this was a bit pointless because Jeremy was colour-blind - he couldn't tell what colour a lightsaber blade was. Jeremy's Jedi colleagues kept chastising Jeremy about his research, but he ignored them and carried on his research. The only problem with his research is not that the results would be subjective, but they wouldn't be accurate. Jeremy could get the colours and the meaning of the colours mixed up, due to his colour-blindness.
I love Indian food. It's interesting what scientists are saying about taste being genetic. Thank you Phil and Beth for choosing this universal subject.
I got to thinking, because I prefer whiskey or other alcoholic drinks to beer when I'm at a party with my friends, but they don't. Hahahaha. I liked this episode, thanks for supporting us on our path to learning a language. I love this channel!
I haven't expected that the taste was genetics. I actually though that was completely subjective from the education and the culture of our environment. Thanks to this video, I broadened my horizons. The term "international food" has now a meaning for me, foods that can be loved by everyone in earth. Who can't love Bolognese pasta or Pizza ? Don't chastising me if I have bad taste :) By the way, is it pointless to try exotic food for someone coming from Western countries ? In the Philippines, I've seen in the street some vendors selling boiled fertilized developing egg embryo. I wasn't able to believe that people buy it for their normal consumption. In my opinion, it must be one of the scariest things when seeing a chick fully recognisable and ready to hatch but completely boiled. I would say that, wouldn't I ? We are like color-blind sometimes about things we thought knowing but which are not really proved.
The drawback that I see is that with you to learn English, one already has to know, everything starts in English, they speak very quickly, there is nothing initial, what is it that is taught?
I think I told you about my favourite dish a long time ago. I'm a person who doesn't eat anything which looks horrible or is inedible. So I'm not keen on anything kind of dish
In my hometown, the government has chastised some journalists based on their articles they published. Actually, some journalists and editors have been sentenced to jail term because of their articles. I feel sorry for the innocent journalists but there is nothing much I can help them.

There’s a little typo in the subtitles, flavour.
You're right, well-spotted. 'flavour' is British English spelling and 'flavor' is American English spelling.
