I have the R7 with same yoshimura at2 exhaust, it sounds awesome, and it’s super loud, so I wear ear plugs when I ride. I love the bike though, definitely one you could keep forever. It’s very useable power for street/casual riding. I haven’t taken it to a track yet but I’m sure it would be a blast.
Anybody that has this bike, can you tell me how you like or dislike it?? I'm currently looking to buy a bike and I'm really undecided... I like the weight of this bike and allegedly the mpg it gets. Along with the price point compared to others.. But it gets a lot of hate - mostly from what seems to be ppl who just want to race on a track and want the fastest bike ever. I'd also assume they aren't favorable of twin cylinders, which I get is but that's what is coming with this whole green initiative... But yeah, idk man.. I'm really undecided. Somebody tell me something lol
I had sold my cbr1k and bought a 2018 mt07 and i had so much fun on it!! It was just genuinely fun to be on. Mine had a slip on welded with a tune. I only didn’t like it on the highway bc it was a naked bike. But it has decent torque up to 100mph. Later i sold it for a 750 just bc i was doing so much hwy riding and was used to more power. But after a while i missed the mt07. Currently bikeless bc of a baby but when i start riding again im between this and the rs600 tbh. It really does have useable,fun street power and the insurance/parts are cheap. If you plan on doing canyons or track days this bike WILL make you a better rider. It made me better on the streets.
only issue ive had with it is reaching the friction zone on the clutch is a long proccess u almost have to fully extend ur fingers to enter the friction zone other than that my experience has been amazing
Someone please help because I’m trying to buy this bike, does it come standard with abs? And does it come standard with a Quick Shifter that you can toggle on and off ? Thanks
Hey, thanks for watching. The R7 does have abs, but unfortunately the quick shifter must be purchased and installed separately. Let us know when you get one!
@@markaturbo I would have to ask my guys which tune they picked. I wouldn't pick the tube for stock parts. This is a full system so aftermarket header and mufflee is what you are looking for. 👍🏻

@@powersportssteve the header gaskets bud. In the installation manual it said do not use original gaskets? But it supplied none? Wasn’t sure if it meant replace the gaskets. Or don’t use any?
@@powersportssteve I just reused mine because the bike had 500km no issue there it’s slightly leaking condensation when cold where the muffler slips on tho.

Also the exhaust note on this bike is RIDICULOUS. I felt like i was gunna kick the devil in his nuts. Videos dont do it any justice.

i got th 23 one and the fiberscratches you see on there is crazy i dont know how it is on the 24
