They spent a lot of time discussing having good tactile grip on your wood. Which I think is important in any survival situation. Great conversation.

Great podcast! I always enjoy seeing Mike. But please mix the volume better. Its hard to hear when you are talking normally but then I have to turn down my volume when voices are raised. Just trying to be constructive here. Otherwise, keep up the good work.
Next step to bring a valid survival mindset to people is getting rid of the "for what" aspect. People give up, QUIT, because the hard thing to endure, and be qualified, means there has to be the goal to get back to at least the norm, but if that sucked previously, they don't wanna go to that point. No hope for better, just back to the suck...so what's the point. That needs to change.

Books are great, essential preparedness tools, if you want to have books. Soaked in Bud Light ? Immediate chest plate material !!!
I guess we were lucky cause my dad and his buddies that ran our Boy Scouts troop would drop us off away from each other with minimal supplies and give us maps and a destination and we first had to find each other then survive a night or two on our own and have a location they would pick us up and we had a radio to call for help but fuck that this was a compation to us so we would have to be missing a limb or dying before we asked for help cause me and my friends were going to thrive have fun and get to the pick up spot early to beat the time we were 11 to 14 across our group and we didn’t even know how much we were learning cause to young country/farm land boys it was the most fun we had every summer

Were u armed for the whole trip,i had a wedding to attend in LA awhile back and i did not carry into CA
When i was there, and my friends who still are, ignore that rule.
I refuse to return.
I do tree work and there are some opportunities out west but it would be VERY expensive to get me working in CA.
And
I would not want to need a gun and not have one, before i would concern myself with rules.
I feel much better living in a constitutional carry state, like a respectable American citizen should
