  • This is a new thing we are trying. Because lot of homiez are throwing backroll kiteloops, with Loren leading the charge and pulling really massive ones we decided to try making our first proper tutorial. Another reason for it is that when we were looking for it on youtube there was not really much about backroll kiteloops out there. Especially when it comes to throwing more powered backroll kiteloops or bigger backroll kiteloops, or backroll megaloops there is absolutely nothing.
So before I continue my rambling - this is a tutorial and that means take it or leave it, and it might not work for everyone. Please keep that in mind. Do it solely at your own risk, as powered backroll kiteloop might be a dangerous move, especially if you are not ready for it. If you have not followed the progression steps please make sure you do that first.
Alright now back the backroll kiteloop. Feel free to rewatch the video multiple times and pause on each instruction bullet list. Start small, underpowered in light wind and small kite. Ideally you should barely be able to go upwind. Throwing it in the massive storm without figuring it out in light wind is a recipe for disaster and hard crashes or injury.
Anyway enough warnings. Go have fun, ride hard and shoot us a message if you have any questions.

the best preparation for the pull and tension is a hand-drag kiteloop transition

Where the shoulders are facing should be perpendicular to the wind :)

Hey I think you make super cool videos, keep it up! However, the audio in the his one is a little bit off, I can't really hear what the instructor is saying, the music is too loud.

Hey man thanks for the feedback. I added subtitles for you so now if you enable them it should be much clearer.

Yeah, lots of examples which is awesome. Some of the lists were too quick to read...
I know its difficult but seeing the kite in the video is good...
