My brother in Law won a 57’ Corvette that looked just like that. It was a frame-off restoration. Same colors. It was a $5 ticket and he had to pay $4500 in taxes. It was appraised in the $60k range way back in the late 80’s when it happened. He wasn’t really a car guy and all the brothers and brother in laws are and were all drooling.

I dont understand , he bought it and drove it a few times and then parked it. Then put a different engine in it. Why?. But i love 5he 327 tho. Absolutely beautiful.
Hello bettermost, The hardtop was on it when it left my dads house in NJ. The top does not have latches and was not secure. Reliable took the top off for shipping. Thank you for the comment.

Also the first year for dual headlights.
