    Great video John. For a high handicapper, you made that 87 look very easy, with no drama. You hit it very consistently and straight, your short game is pretty good, but your putting is very good, I just don't see you missing from inside 4 feet. I think these days you're more like a 17 handicap.

    Being injured may help you John because it stops you being adventurous. I think you putting is fantastic - you seldom 3 putt. Does anyone expect to get long putts in? The US PGA tour pros on average only get 50% from 8 feet!
    Nice video!

    • @BIGOGGIEGOLF
      @BIGOGGIEGOLF  2 года назад +1

      Hi there David I think that you may well be right and at my level it’s all about keeping in play and not doing anything too stupid. I guess when your handicap gets lower then use you need more distance to deal with less shots.

    • @BIGOGGIEGOLF
      @BIGOGGIEGOLF  2 года назад +1

      I must admit David that some scores recently have kind of surprise me and I didn’t realise I was actually this good at times. I guess a year ago we will be thinking high 90s on a really good day and usually around 100. But it just goes to show that some work and practice and in my case some concentration about what I’m doing I’m not having to think about everybody else instead of me actually helps.
