Really a very informative documentary presenting correct facts. The interviews also help us to learn more and analyze. However, the role of Dhaka University students and professors could be described more as it was the intellectual center of this Freedom movement. Many students and Professors sacrificed their lives, several were killed. It brings tears to our eyes and at the same time acts as a continuous inspiration. It would be better if a separate documentary could be made on the history of the Dhaka University, especially its role in the Freedom Movement of Bangladesh.

Really one of the 👍 documentaries on Bangladesh's🇧🇩 freedom struggle from Pakistan's oppression, but as a wise creator, you should use proper information and graphic images in the video. At 6:18, you used a distorted map of India, which is incorrect. I know that POK is currently controlled by Pakistan, so the Kashmir part is correct for now, but you used a map showing Arunachal Pradesh as a part of China, which is factually incorrect and demonstrates a lack of knowledge of the world political map. It also supports China's expansionist ideology. So please, as a responsible creator, focus on the images in your video, which will help add information and depth to your content in ur future.

The East-West Pakistan divide could have never worked long-term and was nonsensical from the beginning; all they had in common was being majority Muslim. It was untenable from a geographic, ethnic, and political view and it's surprising it lasted as long as it did. This is probably the best doc I've seen on the matter.
I'm also ashamed of my country (the US) for aiding Pakistan during the war, I understand that we were allies with Pakistan and drank their koolaid so to speak, but the war crimes of the Pakistani Army were clear for all to see. Thankfully India came to the rescue.

The propaganda machine of Awami League! No mention of General Ziaur Rahman, the main foundation of East Bengal Regiment's revolt and declaration of independence ! Collaborators of Pakistan such as Shahriar Kabir is shown as a freedom fighter ! No mention of General Ataul Gani Osmani AKA papa tiger. who was the chief of 'Muktibahini'. No mention of the great Tajuddin Ahmad aka 'Banga-taj' (the crown of Bengal) who was the prime-minister of Bangladesh during the liberation war and the main man behind gaining international and specially Indian support. This documentary is only a fraction of propaganda truth guided by Awami League.

There is no mention of the genocide of the 2 million Bangladeshis Hindus in East Pakistan during 1971.
Please mention that 400000 Bangladeshi Hindus women were gangraped by Pakistani Army in East Pakistan during 1971 war of liberation of Bangladesh.
Bangladeshi Muslims were also massacred and raped by Pakistani Army, but Hindus bore the brunt most, around 85% of the victims were Hindus.

    Pro awami league propaganda.
Most of freedom fighter actually join BNP later. And islamist in banglades has no stronghold like in other muslim country.
Both BNP and Awami league actually secular party and both of has some alliance with some small Islamic party.Only the biggest one with BNP.
Most Awami league leader during the libaration was mostly hiding in india with few exception. The true leader of 1971 war was tajuddin ahmed and bengalli military officer within pakistani army.Later most of them join BNP after seikh mujib death beacuse he was ruling bangladesh dictator.
At That point ziaur Rahman came as a savior of bangladesh and form BNP.He himself was a freedom fighter and commader of "z" force an elite commando group of freedom fighters.

@@TheRightHonRai Look, the countries of the subcontinent tend to distort history for their own interest. This is always done by the ruling parties. So, it is unlikely that the other side of the coin is shown in another documentary. Even if the documentary is prepared somewhere, it would be in Bangla.
