- Lot #633 2003 CADILLAC ESCALADE ESV TONY SOPRANOS FROM THE SOPRANOS
Lot #633 - This fully equipped white 2003 Cadillac Escalade was used by the character Tony Soprano portrayed by actor James Gandolfini in the last three seasons of HBO's award winning series "The Sopranos". This vehicle appeared in numerous episodes and was a prominent signature piece from the hit show. Die-hard fans will certainly be familiar with this car from its extensive use on the production. Some may recall pivotal moments involving the car, such as the scene in "The Second Coming" (Season 6 Part 2, Episode 7) when Tony pulls up in the driveway of the Soprano home shortly before discovering his son A.J. on the verge of drowning in the family pool following an unsuccessful suicide attempt, or perhaps the climactic chase sequence in "In Camelot" (Season 5, Episode 7) when Tony jumps into the Escalade and chases Phil Leotardo through the streets of New Jersey, eventually running his nemesis's car into the back of a parked truck. The vehicle is equipped with clear windshields for exterior filming and was also occasionally fitted with external camera rigging to facilitate interior filming during the production. Many key plot conversations took place in the vehicle, and it was Tony's primary source of transportation when conducting business on behalf of the Soprano family in the latter half of the series. Perhaps most astounding of all given its owner's reputation is the fact that the vehicle is in excellent condition and was never crashed, shot, or blown up. This shirt was worn by the character Tony Soprano played by actor James Gandolfini in H.B.O.'s award winning series "The Sopranos". Mr. Gandolfini wore the shirt in "In Camelot" (Season 5, Episode 7) during the scene where Tony pursues Phil Leotardo in the Escalade and forces him to run into the back of a parked truck. This garment is part of Mr. Gandolfini's personal collection of Tony Soprano wardrobe that he acquired after the Sopranos series ended. This shirt represents the signature Tony Soprano look and is complete with the original production tag. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by issued and signed by James Gandolfini. The shirt has been donated by The Golden Closet and TheGoldenCloset.com. **This vehicle is the actual vehicle used on the award-winning HBO drama, "The Sopranos" and it is in screen-used condition. There is no claim that the vehicle works properly and it is being sold under special conditions
AFTER the sale last year of some minor props from the HBO series “The Sopranos,” collectors wondered what the cars from the show would eventually bring.
Well, the results are in. At Barrett-Jackson’s auction last weekend in West Palm Beach, Fla., Tony Soprano, as always, came out on top. Of the eight cars auctioned, his white 2003 Cadillac Escalade ESV brought the most, $45,000
The black 2000 Cadillac DeVille driven by Vito Spatafore sold for $7,500, and two 1999 Lincoln Town Cars driven by hit men went for $2,600 each. They had gunshot damage.
Paulie Walnuts’ 2003 Cadillac CTS sold for $18,000. That’s the car he drove to tear up Christopher Moltisanti’s front yard

Like I mentioned yesterday, I would love to see the other Sopranos cars sold during this auction. This is neat because this would be right after the show wrapped up. Truck is for sale again currently.
