Absolutely brilliant! Controlling the swells as the song steadily rose in power but demonstrating complete control over the volume. The vocals embellished the emotional draw of the dragon, its roar resonating throughout, its march, its battle of will. Extraodinary!

He is the only elder dragon I think I could feel sorry for. I think he is the only one who really thought about his nature and the fate of the world that he held. And I think despite his nature, he truly regretted what he was.
Well, I think Glint's efforts led to some of that. And for me, Mordremoth's theme hits different 'cause my first few GW2 characters were sylvari. Some of the soundtrack pieces from IBS, namely Boneskinner, Dark Forest and Raven Sanctum, are close seconds.
@@betholiver4742 One of the nicest touches about Mordremoth's musical theme is his motif of the three ascending notes. During the final battle against him in "Hearts and Minds," the music features his motif reversed in order and playing rapidly, signaling his downfall.
Probably a comment lost in the others, but I love this. Please explore other possibilities from this game. I really enjoyed this a lot and have personally added this to one of my playlists. An amazing rendition.
Absolutely wonderfull. I remember that moment of the game, chasing him, knowing that he had to end him, but with the tears blurring my eyes it was a bit difficult, and the fantastic music did not help much, I could feel his suffering. So I opted to lower the sound. Now I listen to her and cry again. It is incredible how a melody can convey so much feeling of pain, without a single word. It is sublime ...
Hé bé, quelle puissance, autant dans la voix que dans la mélodie. Et le mixage entre les deux est particulièrement réussi, aucune ne prend le dessus sur l'autre. Bravo, good job.
@@JycRow I agree, that was amazing! Just like all of your other GW2 pieces, I loved it! I didn't know how much I wanted a Jyc-ed version of Fear Not This Night until now!
I was wondering if you remake this epic piece. I have feeling that it's inspired by the revelations in the end of the LW4 story, or is it the inspiration from the first use of this theme, in the Aurene's vision? It feels more sad, than the original. It's still epic and beautiful.
@@JycRow It's still as powerful, but the emotional layer is extended a lot. I think it fits the end of the chapter perfectly. [Probably slight spoilers ahead] ANet did exactly the same story-wise. We went out, full ballistic on Kralk and the original was fitting for that (more aggressive), but the last fight, where he talked to us about himself. Well...exactly the mood of this. The more I listen to it, the more I love it :)
This is amazing. I don't suppose you've ever considered reorchestrating/extending Zhaitan's battle theme? Or Mordremoth's, the one in the instance? @_@
Mmh, not at the moment but I might think of it later! However, I'm currently working on a original song about Zhaitan (which will be called "The Risen of Zhaitan") but it'll take a bit more time considering one of the singer I'm working with can't record during lockdown, unfortunately ^^'
Kralkatorrik was so well-written. He truly broke my heart at the end.
@Orcaluv26 dont forget Glint too...
It broke my heart every time because they were all possessed by the void and we did know
poor grandpa kralk
I’ve played a lot of fantasy games and the plot of living world season 4 is among my favourites.
I like how each of the dragons is quite singular in appearance.

I really liked Kralk, I felt like he was the only dragon so far that captured the force of nature feeling.

Yeah, Celica did an incredible job here! Looking forward to work with her again! :D
I'm a gw2 rper and your work has been musical inspiration for many who interact with the LS on a roleplay level. Adore your gw2 stuff so much!
Same here!!!! Which side?
Need so much more GW2 reorchestrations from you Jyc ! :D
I'm working on an original song atm, for GW2. Something just before the fight against Zhaitan. ;)
