Nice ride! I have a '79 CX500 custom. Great old original bike, runs great and it's a nice, comfortable ride. My wife and I ride two-up quite often for weekend rides out in the country or out to the lake. Just checked out your channel. Man you have great content, subscribed!

Adding on to what barker said, if you do have the experience, these bikes are the best. My dad gave me his and he used to ride it to college since 81’. It’s had no problems whatsoever besides daily oil changes and a change of the original rear tire.
I had a 1981 CB 650 custom. Rode it from Virginia to Oklahoma and then to Colorado after being discharged from the Navy. Excellent trip.

She's sounding good! I have a 1981 CB650 but not a custom. Can't tell much difference between them beside different handlebars and wheels

What do you think about this bike as a first bike?
They make a pretty good first bike if you already have some motorcycle experience. Otherwise you might find them a little bit big and powerful.
