You have a great idea. These guys are so fking great and i been with metallica from day fking zero. These boys from power trip lay it fucking down sir!!!!
Riley, I saw you live in Atlanta in 2019 when you opened for High on Fire. I thought I was there to see High on Fire, more specifically Matt Pike; but as it turned out, as much as I love High on Fire, I was there to see you that night. We didn't meet, and now we never will, but I want you to know you made me happy and I enjoyed watching you, be you. Thanks for everything. I'll bring my guitar to the other side and when I get there, I'll look for you.
Saw them open for High on fire in Montréal, Hof is one of my favorite band but have to be honest, they completely stole the show. Happy to have seen Riley live twice, what a frontman, so sad.
I can't believe I'm making this cliché statement but I can't get enough of this band! 80's glory thrash resurrected. These guys are the real fucking deal.
This song has everything I love about thrash, with a sound that reminds me of Slayer and Sepultura! I went and bought their previous album and cannot wait for the release of the next one.
I saw these boys open for Anthrax and LoG in Houston last February. Totally impressed -- amazing talent. They had their lead guitarist on the side of the stage standing by himself in the dark -- he totally shredded it. I have never seen anyone play a guitar better than that. Was amazed.
I first heard this song today on SiriusXM while driving. I really wish I discovered these guys years ago. This is excellent metal and I'm ordering the CD today. RIP Riley Gale I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to enjoy your music before this.
I hear Sepultura and Slayer in this and for that I am beyond happy. And this is a newer band? How have I not stumbled across this yet!? As a thrash fan I am ashamed I haven't heard of them before, but better late than never. I am in LOVE!!!
With hooks and tightness rivaling greats like Pantera or Pentagram sold me on Power Trip. There's no way I would have bought into these guys without a sales pitch like that. Thanks $outhern Lord.
I heard about this band and track from theneedledrop and I am glad I found this. This track is really sick, I like how parts of the solos are experimental sounding
"Before long I'll be dead and gone"
😭
REST IN POWER RILEY
I couldn't hear that...
@@saramae2516 1:24
Fucking rest in power Riley
Hits harder knowing that he's gone...
'walking a tight rope' just gives me chills. rest in power Riley, we're gonna miss you
"Adrenaline starts to flow...THRASHING ALL AROUND!!!!" sums this up
I have Whiplash because of this 😎😂
ACTING LIKE A MANIAC
WHIPLASH!
The burst of acceleration on 2:39 sends me every time, it is pure, undiluted, thrash metal right there. Holy shit.
This band deserves so much more recognition
Ivan Santillanes Anthony Fantano gave them some love.
true thats why I'm here.
Ivan Santillanes agreed
Yeah well now, they’re finally getting it. This album brought them to a whole-nother level .... modern Pantera for me ;)
Just smashed Australia few weeks ago.....
Now I can imagine what it'd feel like listening to Fight fire with Fire in 1984.
All thanks to this song.
Joshan Sharma underrated comment. I always wonder how music is gonna sound 30 years from now and production these days is gonna be outdated.
You have a great idea. These guys are so fking great and i been with metallica from day fking zero. These boys from power trip lay it fucking down sir!!!!
Pretty close...I've listened to Metallica since the beginning
love that change up at 1:40
Whylo Echodome totally. Slayer Esque
Maybe Metallica's "Seek and Destroy"
It's Thatanos - Internal Deceit
The 2-step Postmortem breakdown

Proud of this band!
I can't believe I'm making this cliché statement but I can't get enough of this band! 80's glory thrash resurrected. These guys are the real fucking deal.
what's the cliche there? "can't get enough"? That's not cliche. "80's thrash", however = certainly cliche lol
This song has everything I love about thrash, with a sound that reminds me of Slayer and Sepultura! I went and bought their previous album and cannot wait for the release of the next one.
Well
I love the reverb in the vocals!
I'M FULLY TORQUED RIGHT NOW
Metal and celtic.👍
My feet stink. I’m changing socks.
Sepultura with Kerry & Jeff on guitar, and John Tardy on vocals.
RIP Gayle. Wanted to watch you guys live. Foreclosure of a dream.
Same here man.
2:14 oh fuuuucckk this is tight!

I saw them in Corpus Christi that same tour. They kicked so much ass! I wasn’t really fond of Deafhaven though.
This is set to be one of the best albums of 2017 along with the new Code Orange and Malevolence records. So much fucking hype.
I first heard this song today on SiriusXM while driving. I really wish I discovered these guys years ago. This is excellent metal and I'm ordering the CD today. RIP Riley Gale I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to enjoy your music before this.
If you carefully hand-pick the best of '80s Thrash and distil it, you get Power Trip. Awesome work!
BRUTAL
Awesome
Their best song and also my favorite. Fight me.
Recently discovered this band - love them
ive been waiting for this for so long, so elated to hear these pulverizing riffs to bang my head to!!!!
Sounds like D.R.I. vocals exodus riffs Dimebag leads with a little Kerry King mixed in
Bring it on, I'm ready!
This Texas thrash have me loving like Brokeback Mountain
Damn, these dudes are going hard.
@2:15. Sick...just a sick riff
These guys are so fucking talented. I grew up playing discharge and black flag, thinking I was fast. Shit.
fuck how'd these dudes go under my radar for so long
I hear Sepultura and Slayer in this and for that I am beyond happy. And this is a newer band? How have I not stumbled across this yet!? As a thrash fan I am ashamed I haven't heard of them before, but better late than never. I am in LOVE!!!
I knew these guys wouldn't disappoint.
Rest in Power Riley Gale. Seeing this band live twice is something I' am most fortunate seeing.
So glad I've randonly came across this Band, first song I've heard was Hornets Nest, while working out outside, gave me a good fckn energy-boost
R.I.P.
im old fuck at 54 just got into these guys the last year great thrash,,,,,,rip riley these guys sounds great
Makes me think back to slayer metallica Megadeth concerts...this is right up the alley. Metal reigns, metal rules, metal lives. Awesome band here.
Wicked! 1:34
It has that DRI, Early Prong, Negative Approach, Slayer type sound going on, which I totally love and glad this shit exists!
With hooks and tightness rivaling greats like Pantera or Pentagram sold me on Power Trip. There's no way I would have bought into these guys without a sales pitch like that. Thanks $outhern Lord.
Yes, that was ear pleasing.
I think the way I felt about the intro to this is the perfect example of how people would have reacted to Fight fire with fire in 1984.
thank God you guys are back.....been hanging out for a while and this is definitely the dose I needed
Que buen tema. Muy old school y ese solo con estilo Kerry King. Me lleva a otras épocas. Brutal.!
este tema me volo la cabeza sin duda de los mejores de este disco
the riffs on this album so far are in the vein of motorhead, OMG so fucking dope!!!
can. Not. WAIT.
1 of thr most entertaining bands i saw live
Dang! We need more guitar like this in music.
Top of the line
These guys are fucking insane. In the good sense.Whoever said thrash is out of the times, probably needs to give this madness a listen
OLD GAURD, CHANGES HANDS
THIS WILL BE, YOUR LAST STAND
So Good!
These guys sound they could have been around in 85. Killer 🤘🤘🤘
With just one example album " Nightmare Logic " this is better than full catalogues of many labels. Recognition please 🙏🌠💙🖤🕷🎵🎶🦇💪👍🎩🤘
Dammmnnnn!!! When that break was about to hit all I could think was "can they outdo Suffer No Fool??" Maybe not but that was sick!!!
Saw this band on the 11/8/17 in Dallas with Cannibal Corpse. They were amazing. New band I love.
I just saw them with Cannibal Corpse on the 13th, in Santa Ana. Awesome show. Gatecreeper did great too.

Very good top notch.
Just got into these guys and they R WONDERFUL :):)
OH FUCK that guitar scream 2:56
RIFFS.
The best thrash record of The decade
I'd say the best thrash album since about 1991.
Great stuff
RIP RILEY GALE
have the 1 lp hope i ll get this secnd one better after a gig like last time
It is necessary.
amazing, can feel all of that thrash influence. The intro reminds me of early metallica and the solo is very slayer.
Juan Josè Elgueta That's because they are a thrash band...
Cro-Mags are pretty much their major influence.
TyecoK No, I've talked to them and it's stuff like Rigor Mortis, Gammacide, Vio-Lence, and Devastation
slayer, vio-lence, s.o.d
I love it, one of the only recent metal bands that I have heard and actually enjoy.
RIP Riley Gale
This song is plain and simple infuckingcredible!!
Wooooooooooooooow I'm buying this fucking album damn it!
Sounds a lot like alters of madness. Its pretty good shit.
Heads being torn right now
Cute Song
RAININGGG BLOOOOODDDD
The ghost of Sacrilege B.C. Nuclear Assault, Sepultura, with Pantera grooves
reminds me of Num Skull. If you don't know who I speak of, look 'em up. Ritually Abused is one hell of a bad ass album.
DAMMMMMMN
Shit is intense! just a few good thrash metal albums this year. This one is to be sure in the top list!
Rest In Power Riley Gale. #rileygale
This is fucking sick!!
Can't wait to see these dudes kick some ass live with Black Dahlia and Napalm Death!
Adam Torres Just saw them all in New York. Fantastic stuff. Caught a concussion, so I consider that night a success.
Adam Torres I just saw all 3 this past Saturday
/,,/ badass fucking show
any liveshow you don't remember, because of a head injury, is a good one. Happened to me about five years ago at a slipknot gig
Max Romano I was there the same night. Legendary lineup.
RIP MR Gale!! You will be missed!!
nossa que sorte esbarrar com essa musica
Ready to the moshpit!!
These guys are like a mix of megadeth and suicidal.
Thank you Anthony Fantano.

Agreed, this is really good.
Though I wouldn't call it "metalcore" like he did lmao
Yiğit Sert, heh okay then.

Fantony Antano the internets pussiest music nerd
