I dunno If your looking for a more immersive experience and better themed rides, then Alton Towers wins. However, If your looking for more intense and thrilling coasters, then Thorpe Park wins.
And if ur looking for more of a ‘Theme Park’ experience Alton Towers is the place to go where as Thorpe Park is if ur looking for more of an ‘Amusement Park’ experience
nah I disagree, more thrills to be had at Alton. Each ride at thorpe park has one that it similarly compares to: Swarm to Galactica Saw the Ride to Oblivion Smiler to Colossus Stealth to Rita Nem inferno to Nemesis and yet Alton Towers still has more like Wickerman and Spinball Whizzer. Also Saw the ride is the only one that wins on that list against the one it compares to maybe even tho the drop on Oblivion is somehow more intense.

Drayton Manor is not bad but it doesn’t compare to Alton Towers and Thorpe Park especially because Alton and Drayton are both in Staffordshire
Lightwater valley isn’t a theme park anymore it’s more of a family park now
Rita is a better ride because when you get off it you're right next to a bunch of good roller coasters

It's a draw: Thorpe has a B&M wing coaster, Towers has a Gerstlauer Infinity. Definitely a draw!
